I completely understand. This book was not what I expected either, but I fell in love with Willem's journey. I actually liked it more than Allison's/Lulu's. After I finished the book and got passed the fact that is wasn't a love story, I was able to really enjoy the story for what it was. I actually gave it 5 stars.

I agree with Erika, I wanted more of their love story. That being said, it was interesting to follow Willem during that year.
