Congratulations Maplepaw for her challenge on creating the new MoonPeak!

Okay...
Marshstream trotted up to Violetfrost and said urgently, "I have to go to the Moonpeak to talk with Starclan."
"Why?" Violetfrost asked, not looking up from her work.
"Well," Marshstream lowered his voice to a whisper. "I was going to ask Starclan if it was a good idea to appoint Jaystar deputy, so he could become leader. He doesn't seem too caring about the clan at the moment. Care to come?"
"Nah, it's okay." Violetfrost was starting to brew a marigold poultice. "I have to gather and brew herbs just in case something happens."
"Kay, bye," Marshstream said, and bounded out of camp.

"But- But before you leave you must eat special herbs to give you the strength for the long, tiring journey! Remember?" Says Violetfrost. She wondered why everyone was acting so strangely. It just wasn't natural to be so secretive, she thought!

As Marshstream was walking over to Moon Peak, he felt the presence of Starclan cats around him. As he placed his nose on the stone, he felt eerily calm. His tiredness washed away like water, and next thing he knew, he was in Starclan's territory.
"Ah! Leafpool! Featherwhisker!" he exclaimed, and ran over to greet them.
"What brings you today?" Leafpool asked gently.
"Well, I was wondering if it was a good idea to appoint Jaystar deputy for the leader spot. He seems to be neglecting our clan."
Featherwhisker frowned and glanced at Leafpool. "Well, I did notice that... But I guess it was Mudstar's choice to appoint him... But he did that for a reason... he will come into play, and eventually save the clan. I will promise of it."
Leafpool snapped, "Don't make any promises you can't keep."
Marshstream backed away. "Well, thank you, Leafpool, Featherwhisker. Thank you for letting me talk with you. It's been a great honor," he said, dipping his head to both of them.

"Ah, no, it's fine. Well, maybe." He quickly slurped down the herbs and backed out of camp. "Thank you, Violetfrost!"

"Tell me what to do! Huh!" Blackclaw waited for Violetfrost, growling impatiently.

Violetfrost whispered a short tune to herself as she travelled with her Clan's future leader to the Moonpeak, tired but excited as she loped along the grassland. " ____ " She looked around for Blackclaw. "Hey! Where'd you go?" She asked jokingly.

What am I supposed to do? Blackclaw asked himself. What's going to happen? Is it going to hurt? What if they don't want me to be leader?

She looked at Blackclaw. "You're worried." She said with concern. "What's wrong with him? Is he not glad he shall be leader?" She asked herself silently. She was glad that she had travelling herbs, as she looked at the row of mountains they would have to cross to get to the sacred MoonPeak. She wished that Blackclaw had accepted the travelling herbs she had thought to give him. (( Violetfrost worries too much )) "What's the matter with Blackclaw? Is he simply tired? Is he sick? What's wrong?" She worried.

"What if StarClan doesn't accept me?" Blackclaw asked. "I've wanted to beome leader ever since I was a young kit...it's been one of my biggest dreams..."

Violetfrost softened, looking at the cat. Then her emotions changed. "StarClan will accept you! Okay?" She said, trying to take the sting out the first words in her sentence.

"Anything can happen," Blackclaw replied.

Trying to reassure him, she walked faster. "Okay! Let's get you there now and find out! They'll accept you as leader! You'd be a great leader of this Clan!" She said, hoping she could help Blackclaw.

"I hope so..." Blackclaw followed her.

Violetfrost said nothing more as they ran along the tall ridge. "You've never been to the MoonPeak, have you?" (( That is a controversial question, the practice of bringing 'paws to the Moon-whichever was abandoned when they went to the lake. Will we have them bring apprentices to the Moonpeak or no? ))

((All up to you. Just not with Black & Violet right now.))

"Nope," Blackclaw shook his head. "That part was forgotten."

(( I think we should have them take apprentices to the Moonpeak. ))

Violetfrost remembered stories of the old forest, in which all young apprentices were taken to the Moonstone. She thought of old Heatherpelt, the oldest cat in the whole Clan. She even remembered what it was like to live at the Lake, instead of their current marshy homeland. "I remember my first visit." She said, now wistful at her memory of her strange dream. "I met a cat called Jayfeather. Apparently he was a medicine cat at the Lake. What an odd cat he was... Told me about badgers and nonsense." She went on, hoping Blackclaw would enjoy the story. "But, it all came true, don't you remember? Biggest badger I'd ever seen." She looked at her surroundings. "Oh! We must be almost to the Peak!" She meowed.

((Right now, or another time?))

Blackclaw smiled. "I sure hope so!" He mewed. "I'm more interested by Bramblestar..."

(( Another time. ))

Violetfrost nodded. "He was a great leader." She mewed. "You know me, always rambling on about our ancestors." She said, now looking at the bottom of a slope. "See there? That's the Moonpeak. We should get up there, don't want to miss the moon." She meowed.

((Awesomeness!! 'Cause it'd be a bit awkward if they brought an apprentice ._. ))

Blackclaw murmured to himself, "Weeiirrd..."

She smiled, and nudged him with her nose. "Oh stop it! I'm your medicine cat!" Violetfrost gasped. "Stop it! We're here!" Clearly taking charge, she ran up the rocky slope. StarClan is accepting our leader... She murmured as she dodged a loose patch of stones, as now she stood before a large white boulder, which seemed to glow in the darkness.

"Wait! Wh- where am I supposed to go?" Blackclaw curled up into a big, black, fluffy ball of fur. So much I need to take in...

Looking at Blackclaw, who would become Blackstar later in the night. "Just sit down in front of the boulder." She mewed softly. She did the same, choosing a small spot near Blackclaw. Slowly she drifted off to sleep, not feeling the need to tell him what to do.

Blackclaw whimpered a bit, crawling toward the rock and laid down next to it. He made sure at least some part of his body was touching this thing. After all that, for the first time in ages, he got into a deep sleep.

(( Good! I am so sorry, I was at my dance show which was a three-day ordeal, so I didn't really have time to do stuff on GR. ))

Violetfrost found it hard to sleep with her nose touching the cold white stone. But after a few moments she drifted off, and found herself in the hunting grounds of StarClan.

(( Which cats should we use to give Blackclaw his nine lives? ))

((Ooo! Ooo! And his Great-grand-father, Lionstar!! And, erm...maybe Sil's father? Erm...maybe he should be Cloudeye, but with the name "Cloud"? Uuummmm...one more...))

Violetrost looked out at the crowd of cats looking upon her, with starlight shimmering in their pelts.

Blackclaw's eyes widened as he looked around, and yet agan, he started to whimper, fear growing in his eyes. How was he supposed to know this was StarClan's territory?

A small pale cat stepped out of the crowds. Her pelt had small flecks of mottled dark gray, so Violetfrost immediately recognized her, but stayed silent. "Blackclaw," She mewed kindly, "I have come to give you your first life. This life represents kindness and compassion, and a fierce love like the way a mother cares for her kits. When you are leader, the whole Clan will be your kits, and with this life I will help you protect them." She then looked up to touch noses with the larger cat. Violetfrost started counting. One... Ferncloud... She thought to herself.

Blackclaw dug his claws into the ground as searing pain blazed though him and he he bit lip, trying not to screech.

Violetfrost winced as she saw how hard it had been for Blackclaw, and that there were still eight lives to go. A large dark red tom walked out of the crowd, and Ferncloud stepped back. " Hello, Blackclaw. I am Sharpclaw, I was once the deputy of SkyClan. The life I have to give you is the most important life of all." He went on. Violetfrost giggled to see that Sharpclaw hadn't lost any of his arrogance or pride. "It is for bravery and strength in battle, to protect you Clan with all that is inside of you. With this life I give you unimaginable strength, powerful as warriors of LionClan." Sharpclaw then touched noses with Blackclaw, slightly ducking because of Sharpclaw's immense size.

SkyClan? I never heard of it before... Blackclaw thought to himself as he tried to get through the pain. This must be worse than getting struck by lightning...it hurts!

(( How are we going to organize which lives are given? ))

Now looking into the crowd, Violetfrost waited for the third cat to step out.

Violetfrost looked on as a beautiful sand-furred tabby walked from the ranks of StarClan. "Hello, Blackclaw." She mewed with a tone kindness. "I have come to give you your third life, oh, you probably figured that out... I give you a life for courage to defend your Clan. But not just your Clan, all the Clans. There needs to be three Clans in the marshes, Blackclaw, and with this life O give you the courage to protect them all." She then touched noses to him, the lithe elegant she-cat having no problem reaching, she was a large cat too. Violetfrost went on counting. Three... Sandstorm...

(( This wasn't my best, I don't think that that life suited her, it did in the later books, but still... ))

Blackclaw panted after another wave of pain burned through him.
[didn't know how to act that one out.]

(( It's fine! You know, I've never done any ceremonies besides 'paw and warrior, but I think this is going well! BTW, which life should Crookedtsar give to him? ))

Violetfrost remained still as another cat, a huge powerful ginger tom, stepped out of the green trees. "Hello Blackclaw. You wouldn't know who I am, would you? I am Crookedstar, the former leader of RiverClan. I have come to give you your fourth life.

((Sorry if this seems off topic, but what does 'OMSC' mean?))

((Oh my StarClan instead of Oh My God(Omg). ^.^
Errmm...something to prevent what happened in Crookedstar's life. Making the wrong promise, for example.))

"I- I do..." Blackclaw murmured. "I'm very good with my history..."

Crookedstar continued. "A life for undying, unwavering loyalty to your Clan. And for the wisdom to make the right decisions to protect your Clanmates. I have not always done this, but with this life I help you make your Clan strong." He touched noses to Blackclaw, and all the cats waited in anticipation for his fifth life.

Blackclaw's eyes widened at Crookedstar and was panting at the same time.

((Next is Whitestorm!))

A massive pure white tom stepped out of the leafy undergrowth. "Blackclaw, I'm Whitestorm. I was once deputy of the ancient ThunderClan. The life I have to give you is for compromise and understanding. As Clan Leader, you must only want the best for your Clan, but sometimes that cannot be achieved. I give you this life to compromise, and how sometimes in a Clan we want what we cannot get. Here is a life for achieving the next best thing." His voiced faded, and he touched noses with Blackclaw.

((Just ThunderClan. Not ancient ThunderClan.))

Just like Blackclcaw's first life, a fire blazed through him and he wanted to sreech. Lucky for him, he didn't.
