Hmm, depends on the type of world of vampires and werewolves? Soulless, moon crazed, or controlled? Also if you look at Briggs vampires/werewolves, They are both pretty much immortal, but there I would rather be a werewolf, the vampires just seem too soulless crazy, except Stefan.
Vampire, hands down. I've been drawn to vampires since the age of 9. My mother would say while in the womb. She watched Dark Shadows religiously while bed ridden when I was in her. to this day, I'm the only one of out of her 3 children that is captivated by the creatures called vampires. I even have a huge section of my library dedicated to all things, fiction and nonfiction, vampire. With that said, I must choose vampire. Funny thing about this is werewolves are typically associated with native people. That's Native American, we like the term native. Though, honestly I could care less.. Anyway, I'm Shawnee, my spirit animal is the wolf, yet I choose vampire. please, no questions about my nationality and spirit animals. It is what it is, and I've always gravitated towards the vampire in all it's forms. Hell, I played Vampire the Masquerade for several years. Okay, enough. I'm out, peace people.

It is! I can do without the hairy. I can live forever and I get to bite people!

yes i agree. i have watched dogs choke on hair and as much as i love dogs i really dont think i could be one. but that bieng said i do have a strong sense of loyalty and i love naps. yet there still is something about vampires.

ah but what if they transform into bats?
ah but what if they transform into bats?
Oh well... squishing that big body of mine into a tiny creature would hurt too lol. Yet, I've never heard of them complaining about the pain. Werewolf, yes. :P
that is true. maybe they have a higher pain tolerance. ive heard the transformation to vampire being painful but then again you rarely hear about animal transformations.
Still...you suffer with either, so might as well go with Vampires. I think they have more control over their powers and I have a little thing for them. :P
I'd go for vampires. They seem sexier than werewolves. And they're always a vampire, not just during a full moon. That being said, I do find wolves the animals fascinating and beautiful though.
Norma wrote: "If I become a Vampire, I am NOT becoming a bat!"Ok, not one...a dozen. ;)
I've never understood movies where vampires turn into dozens of them before they disappear in the night. I can't even understand one much less dozens.
maybe the dozens are different parts of the body. and anatomy.
what if one of them got lost along the way?
ok so what if you disapate into smoke and the become a bat? there is no morphing it just happens. would you do it then?

Norma wrote: "If I become a Vampire, I am NOT becoming a bat!"Wouldn't you prefer becoming one over fighting one? :P
Oh ok! I do agree that they have such cute little faces. That said, I don't believe vampires would turn into bats if they existed anyway.
this I think would depend for me like amyiw It would depend on the factors of the world we lived in and the pros and cons of each before I could chose but Werewolf... for sure.
Vampire for me. Changing into a werewolf ruins your clothes and you get that problem thirteen times a year. It must cost a fortune.
I just found another reason to choose vampires. No need for birth control...no icky love making as animals...Never too sure about that one when I read PNR with shifters. No bestiality for me. Yeesh!
