Karen A. Wyle (kawyle) | 60 comments I didn't see a folder for mentioning new nonfiction books, and this book is one gigantic writing tip -- so I hope it's OK to announce it here.

I've been practicing law for almost 35 years, and writing novels for five. Now I've written a guide to help authors explore the dramatic possibilities in the legal landscape, while avoiding some of the howlers one often sees in books and movies.

The book is available in paperback and Kindle editions. I've picked the Kindle for "This topic is about," because its "Look Inside" feature will let you read all of the first five chapters and some of the sixth. (It's a long book.) You can also learn more about it on the book's website at http://www.cttf.karenawyle.net, which has links to the Table of Contents, "Online Extras" including the paperback's extensive Index, and my professional and fiction websites.

If you'd like to head over to Amazon, here's the link (to the Kindle edition with its "Look Inside" option): http://www.amazon.com/Closest-Fire-Wr...
