Here's my review, I hope this is ok, I copied from my phone and couldn't see how to use a link so I'm just copying and pasting! (Might get spoilery)
Gaaahhh!! This one was tough but I am glad I stuck it through. I had the advantage of being prepared for the hardship of this one so I wasn't as blindsided as some others but it by no means made it much easier. Ross let me down big time-he's the HERO. However, even heroes make mistakes and while I can never excuse what he did, if it in ANY way helped get Elizabeth out of his system then I can accept it a little easier. I also didn't mind demelza flirting the way she did too because I for one needed to see Ross's jealousy to be totally convinced of his love. I knew once he heard of it he would rake her over the coals, even though she NEVER did that to him.. But he did at least apologize and admit he couldn't really judge or blame her for turning to McNeil. So in the end, I was left still with a twinge of hurt but ultimately I really do believe in Ross's sincerity and the fact that it's her he's IN love with, not just feeling obligation toward.
My other quibble was that it took him so damn long to explain himself BUT again he seemed to need to work it out in his head first because he let himself down as well. And he said "how can I explain what I don't rightly understand?" So again, I'm not happy with this event at all but he's human and hopefully this will be a lesson to him for the future.
