Don't forget to patrol the borders people!

Briardawn slowly walked towards the edge of the border and she renewed the scent marker. Then she looked around for trespassers.

"Do you smell anything?" Says Moonbreeze as she sniffs a bush.

" No, nothing out of the ordinary". Briardawn hears a movement in the bush then she turns around and sniffs the scent of a rabbit.

"Is that fox? I know one passed through a moon ago and I don't want it coming back."

" I hope it isn't a fox especially a mother fox with kits(cubs or whatever) crawling around"! "Keep sniffing if something is fresh I suggest we warn camp".

"Nothing is wrong! It better not be... all the kits in camp."

" yeah you are right"! Dawnmist sniffs the air. " hey should we hunt I wanna fill the fresh kill pile"!

"Okay, catch a squirrel for Juniperstripe, she needs food!"

Briardawn nods. Then she looks around until her eyes land on a young squirrel. She slowly stalks towards the squirrel and then she pounces on it. Briardawn then kills it.

Kestrelheart looked around for squirrel to give to Queens and the Elders. She sniffed the air and looked around.

"How is everything?" Said Dovetalon. "I hear things aren't going so well with our new leader. Some of the apprentices have even come to fear him, as he is so hard on them." She said, giving away her full intent to gossip. "Or are you hunting? Oh, sorry! I'm just bothering you!" There. That was less insulting to Jaystar.

Kestrelheart blinked. " Um.. I tend to avoid gossip". " And what things are not going well with our leader, what is he doing wrong"? " Well, maybe on the other hand he was a bit.... neglecting but I am sure our old leader choose him for SOME reason atleast".

Leafwhisker led her patrol over to the tall pine trees and said, "We should split up. And eventually meet each other back here." She gestured with her tail to where they were standing. "Ashpelt, you can go towards Rockclan territory, Spottedpaw, you can go over to where the Twolegs are, and I'll go over, Er, there." Leafwhisker nodded and bounded off, keeping her nose high in the air in search for prey.

Briardawn wanted to go to patrol too so she in silence bounded of to follow Spottedpaw. While Kestrelheart gave one last look at Dovetalon and skidded of to Earth Clan's border.

"Briardawn, look, I'm going to hunt a vole!" Spottedpaw whispered excitedly as he crouched down, preparing to pounce on the prey.

Dovetalon followed Kestrelheart. She wondered if she would talk to her or not. "How are things with you?" She asked, seeming innocent.

Briardawn looked over at Spottedpaw " Good luck on catching that vole we really need it for the kits, I heard Dawnmist just gave birth to Shimmerkit so we need to feed her a vole".

While Kestrelheart narrowed her eyes at Dovetalon. "Very good thanks for asking, and how are things with you, Dovetalon"?

"Look! I caught it!" Spottedpaw said excitedly, taking the vole in his mouth and running back to camp.

Briardawn smiled at Spottedpaw. " You will make a fine warrior one day". She mumbled.

Dovetalon looked over into the woods. "Okay, maybe..."
She said, not really paying attention. "Good hunting?" She asked, just saying words.

Kestrelheart nodded and caught a shrew then a rabbit. Then she padded to camp.

Padding through the undergrowth, Ivytail stops. "Dovetalon! Hey! Do you smell that?" Dovetalon stepped forward. "Uh, no. Wait... I think something is there. There must be kits in the territory!" She looked very shocked, but it was probably just Amberlight's kits getting into trouble again. Ivytail nodded. "The senior warriors did tell us to watch for rogue activity. That is why they sent out such a large patrol." She said. Scrabblepaw nodded. "We should look for them. We can't neglect kits, we'd break the warrior code." Dovetalon looked at Scrabblepaw. "I think we should do that. I'll gather the petrol." She said, and trotted off.

Tindle was pressed against her sister as the padded through unfamiliar territory. The scent of other cats filled their noses as the wandered around, hopelessly lost. "Hazel, were are we going?" Tindle squeaked.

"I... I don't know." Hazel was trembling. "I'm hungry, and I want momma!" She wailed. She sunk to her belly trembling.

"Hazel do you smell that?" Tindle asked her went wide smelling other cats. Sinking down next to Hazel she too trembled.

((*her eyes went wide))

Moonfrost bounded out of the undergrowth. "They're here!" She yowled. Bluepool followed her. "The lost its! We must find their mother! Take them back to camp, immediately!" She was panicked, but spoke with authority. "We should leave 'em on their own territory! StormClan doesn't want these rotten kittypets..." Moonfrost grumbled. Bluepool went on. "Rabbitbramble! Ivytail! Carry these kits back to camp." Quietly she spoke to the kits. "Hello. Where's your mother, little ones?"

Both and Hazel and Tindle stared up at the cats with wide frightened eyes. "P...please d...don't hurt u..us." Tindle trembled as she spoke, looking up at the one cat. Hazel was too scared to say anything, she gazed up at the cat before pressing into Tindle.

Rabbitbramble took one look at the frightened creature and carefully picked her up. "Hey little bumblebee. What's your name?" She was obviously protective of these kits, seeing as she lost two of her own litter many moons ago. Ivytail, on the other hand, was excited to have something so odd going on in her very Clan. "Come on, up you go!" She said, picking up Tindle by her scruff. Moonfrost looking disgustedly at the fluffy kits, she turned and headed back to camp with the rest of the patrol.

Tindle's fear was completely forgotten when Ivytail picked her up by the scruff. "Put me down!" She squeaked, swiping her little paws in the air not catching anything though. She continued to squirm, but gave up noticing that it was pointless. Hazel on the other hand was still trembling, she was on the verge of tears as she got picked up. "Tindle! Don't let them eat me!" She squeaked in fear.

Scrabblepaw couldn't wait to tell everyone that they had found rogue kits in their territory. She looked at the tiny kits, deciding that they could only be about two moons old. The cats said nothing as they ran back to camp, Bluepool picking up the pace as they neared the entrance.

((I have a test right now so I won't reply in awhile))

Hazel had gone completely still by this time. Her eyes were squeezed shut. Tindle had wide eyes as she gazed at her surroundings, she squirmed slightly wanting to walk on her own.

Rabbitbramble mewed calmly to Hazel, hoping that she would calm down.

Moonbreeze was hoping Hazel would say that. She started running, at first reluctant to stray away from camp. "So where do you want to explore?" She asked Hazel.

Hazel gazed at her surroundings. "Um... I don't know I've never been here before." She pointed out quietly.

Tindle followed them as fast as her small legs would take her which wasn't fast at all. She lost sight of them quickly, but continued to follow their scent trail.

"I know, but how about I show you around? You see, the territory is very large and... How about I show you the forest-field? It's got trees, and bushes, so it's like woods and meadows combined!" Moonbreeze hoped that the small kit was as enthusiastic as she was. "Wait! I hear something..." She wondered what seemed to be following them.

"Ok sounds cool." Hazel responded happily. She pressed against her closely when she said something about something following them. She buried her head hoping that if she didn't see it it wouldn't see her.

Tindle stumbled as she followed she and ended face planting into the ground. She sniffled softly and curled up wishing she had her sister.

"T-T- Tindle!" Moonbreeze gasped as she saw the kit burst out of the woods. "Um... Hazel... Tindle is here... Tindle, would you like to come on the badger ride...? But what are you doing out of camp?" She was so confused.

Hazel raised her head slightly and saw her sister. Jumping from Moonbreeze's back she bounced over to her sister. "Come it's really fun." She persuaded happily.

Tindle nodded slowly and pressed closely to her sister. She looked up at Moonbreeze and answered her. "Well these two kits told me that I could go follow you guys." She explained.

"Oh no. Would one happen to be small and cream with stripes and the other with a bushy tail?" Moonbreeze looked at her, hoping Brightkit and Frozenkit were not up to their usual antics.

Tindle nodded slowly. "Yeah why?" She asked cocking her head to the side slightly.

Moonbreeze rolled her eyes. "Just don't listen to them, okay? Now come, hop on. It'll be fun, like Hazel said." She gestured for Tindle to ride on her back with Hazel.

Tindle nodded and scrambled onto Moonbreeze's back with Hazel following quickly. Once both sisters were on her back they held on tightly.

"Okay, you two. Let's go!" She said, and started running.

They squeaked in unison and giggled happily. "This so much fun." Tindle squeaked loudly happily.

(( Moonbreeze thinks both kits are a little heavy... ))

"Hey!" A strange voice came out from the bushes. "Fernshimmer!" Moonbreeze looked over her shoulder. "I followed your scent trail. I suppose these two are enjoying their badger ride, hmm? I decided to come along." Said Fernshimmer. "Let me take-" She looked at how scared Hazel looked, and went on. "Tindle." Moonbreeze looked at her, and decided she would like some company with the little kits.

Tindle nodded and hopped off Moonbreeze and scrambled up on Fernshimmer.
