Lyn❤Loves❤Listening to Real Voices Only!!!!❤️🎧📚 Addict ON HIATUS I just finished reading Transcendence and loved it. I was hoping to get recommendations of similar books..prehistoric/caveman hero with modern day woman. The closest I've come to reading a book like Transcendence is Ruth's Bonded by V.C. Lancaster which I loved also.
Any other suggestions?? Thank you!!

Lyn❤Loves❤Listening to Real Voices Only!!!!❤️🎧📚 Addict ON HIATUS Thank you Whit!! I will give both books a try. I really hope love and enjoy Ruth's Bonded as much as I did. It's not a time travel book it's an alien romance. The hero Gron is a prehistoric type alien and he and Ruth have to work with the same kind of language barrier as Beh and Ehd did in Transcendence. According to the author book 2 will be out really soon (she said before the end of this month) and I'm just anxiously waiting.

Thanks again for responding to this post. :) Like you I'm hoping more people respond with suggestions.

Lyn❤Loves❤Listening to Real Voices Only!!!!❤️🎧📚 Addict ON HIATUS So glad you loved the book! Book 2 is "supposed" to be out any day now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there is no delay.

Booklover I haven't found anything like Transcendence, Nothing as well written, with such attention to detail. I am not interested in reading about aliens. i wish I could find something similar.

AmyLouAldaMay I'm in search of a read similar to Transcendence as well. I have read a sort of "Tarzan" type retelling called Uncivilized by Sawyer Bennett, which I actually liked, but to suggest it is even of the same caliber as Transcendence is just sacrilege. I am discovering that Transcendence is not a book to be matched.

Shamefully, I must admit that I have never read the original Tarzan story, but since you speak so highly of it, I will look into it! Thanks!

Birgit Ice Planet Barbarians comes close to Transcendence (exchange the caveman with an alien), I did love the series.

Robyn Lane I read Transcendence and LOVED it. I also have been looking for other books that may be similar and honestly haven't found anything other than my favorite by Jean M Auel (The Earth Children's series) it is based in prehistoric Earth and continues with Ayla's journey from child hood to adult. More of a coming of age in the first book but riveting in my opinion. In the later books you get more of the romance aspect. A great read if you are looking for the Prehistoric bit but still a great story and a great read. My favorite book and author to date.

Yonah (Sort of similar). Does anyone know the title of a book where a girl moves away from her family because her uncle has been sexually abusing her?. She ends up in a Cabin on an Island where her dead sister used to live, only to find that her sisters boyfriend is living there. She does not know that he was the one in the car with his sister that killed her so she falls in love with him. can someone please help. Thank U

I'm really interested. Did you found it?

Innie | Kindledallnight I would highly recommend The Clan of the Cave Bear, the Valley of Horses, the Mammoth Hunters, the Plains of Passage, The Shelters of Stone series by Jean M. Auel, where we wenture back to the 2nd Ice Age 20 thousand years ago (give or take) to the Cro-Magnum (us) and Neanderthals.

We meet Ayla who is the main heroine and follow her from childhood to adulthood and her travels - we also meet Jondalar who is her first meeting with "the others" ergo her own species.

It's a fantastic book series, it's quite long and I highly recommend it.

Book 1 is 'The Clan of the Cavebear'.

Twilla Wickedly Sweet and Synful Book Blog Riley’s Journey by PL Parker. A modern woman goes back in time to a prehistoric time. Book three is my favorite. It has Neanderthal men in n it
