Amelia opened the door that led to her and her sister's dorm room. She walked inside and looked around at the familiar space. She climbed up the white ladder to the top bunk bed and flopped down on it.

Rose walked in behind Amelia and smiled around the room. "Pretty." She said and sat on the bottom bunk.

Amelia sighed. "It's free period." She said. "What do you want to do?" She turned over and hung half of her body off the side of the bed and hooked her legs around the wooden posts so she could stay balanced. She looked at her sister, who was upside down from her point of view.

Rose smiled and took out a pink sparkly make up bag. She opened it up and held up a mirror. "Can I do your make up?" She asked.

Amelia scrunched her nose.
"Oh, come on, sis, you know I don't like that stuff." She said.

Rose sighed and finished her light pink lipstick. "Okay." She said. "What if we paint our nails?" She looked at Amelia hopefully.

Rose jumped up when she saw the time and motioned Amelia out the door. "Training time!" She said excitedly and ran out the door.

Amelia watched as her sister ran out the door. Training time? Has it really been that long since their last class? She glanced at the clock on their wall and almost screeched. It was time for training! She unhooked her legs, forgetting for a moment that she was hanging upside down. She fell to the ground, but hopped back up, unhurt. She ran out the door behind Rose.
