I intend to read a book that I picked up very cheap after last Christmas The Night Before Christmas by Gogol. It's quite a short book but a beautifully bound edition.
I've recently had a look around for more bargains and picked up A Christmas Cracker by Trisha Ashley and Make A Christmas Wish by Julia Williams. These both get great reviews and were very inexpensive from Amazon uk.
I won't be starting any of these books until nearer December though ;)

Tania | 54 comments I haven't read many Christmas books before either. I will try to get hold of Christmas at High Rising by Angela Thirkell I love her books. Also The Santa Klaus Murder by Mavis Doriel Hay , a Christmas whodunit.

Charlotte Jones (ramblingsofanelfpire) I'm reading My True Love Gave to Me: Twelve Winter Romances which is a collection of YA wintery stories. They're not all necessarily Christmas but I'm enjoying it so far. I have two old collections of Charles Dickens Christmas stories too

Every year I read A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. This year I feel like reading Dash & Lily's Book of Dares, so I requested it from my local library. I was not a fan of Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist, simply because the excessive cursing was just annoying, but wanted to give the author's another chance. Has anyone else read this? What did you think?

I've made a start on my Christmas books. I'm currently reading Make A Christmas Wish by Julia Williams. I know I shouldn't expect too much from a light read but this book just isn't written very well. The story is okay so far but the writing style is awful...I wouldn't recommend it.

I read only 10 pages of Dash & Lily's Book of Dares before I realized it wasn't for me. I'm currently a little over half finished with Landline by Rainbow Rowell. Like all Rowell I've read, even those I dnf'ed, the story is kind of weak, that characters are boring but the dialogue is great. Authentic.

Charlotte Jones (ramblingsofanelfpire) I'm reading Hercule Poirot's Christmas. Great mystery so far and I'm stumped on the mystery!

That reminds me, I have a copy of The Adventure of the Christmas Pudding by Agatha Christie! Thanks :)

Ursula LeCoeur | 1 comments A Christmas Kiss! A short read, free for Kindle Unlimited fans. Captures the romantic spirit of Christmas, south-Louisiana style.

Tania | 54 comments Finished The Santa Klaus Murder I really enjoyed it. It seems most of the Christmas books around are whodunit's or Romance, I might try Hercule Poirot's Shristmas too.

I finished reading my Christmas books before the big day :)
I quite enjoyed The Night Before Christmas by Nikolai Gogol and would recommend it. I wasn't so impressed with The Adventure of the Christmas Pudding by Agatha Christie. It was a collection of short stories with only the first one being related to Christmas, it was ok but nothing special.
