Bryanna S. | 7 comments The theme would be that one should participate in life rather than run away from it. The genre of this book is teen drama. I liked the way the author wrote this book because he writes this book coming from every bodies point of view of life. This is the first book that I actually like because it expresses life in many point of view from teens now a days. it shows teens point of view on bullying and not fitting in. The main setting in this book is in school. The Main characters are Charlie and Sam. I like Charlie more because hes now wiser ans understand more then Sam. The Basic Plot of this book is that a Fifteen-year-old Charlie is coping with the suicide of his friend, Michael. To lessen the fear and anxiety of starting high school alone, Charlie starts writing letters to a stranger, someone he heard was nice but has never met in person. (
