An Offer From a Gentleman discussion

So I like Cinderella but Sophie is not my idea of Cinderella. I liked her a lot initially and felt for her plight but when she meets Ben again, she's very haughty at times. Also, if she'd been honest about her background, her life would have been much better. A part of me wanted to see her knocked down a peg. I still felt bad for her but she annoyed me to no end.

Yea. This was a great read for me. She didn't want to be a kept woman though. Benedict was persistent, and patient which was good.

I completely understand why but she was so mean to him for a spell and he was good to her. -- Other than asking to be a mistress.

I loved this series, some of the stories are better than others, of course. My favorite, by far, was the story of Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton... Romancing Mr Bridgerton. Just loved that one!! Keep on trudging through it. I read them out of order, since the library didn't always have the next one, and I still liked them, so skip this one and read another if it's not doing it for you.
