What do people what to read in December?

I have not read it yet. I have it out from the Library currently. The only Kerri Hulme I have read so far is a book of poetry which I thought very good.

I remember reading this many many years ago. Hulme won the Booker prize at the time (I think that it was the Booker). I remember liking it but it was an intense read. She hasn't really written anything much since apart from poetry and short stories.

I think it is worth a read.
