Jess (jesmy777) A terrifying account of the Nazi death camp horror that turns a young Jewish boy into an agonized witness to the death of his family...the death of his innocence...and the death of his God.

Penetrating and powerful, as personal as The Diary Of Anne Frank, Night awakens the shocking memory of evil at its absolute and carries with it the unforgettable message that this horror must never be allowed to happen again.

Jess (jesmy777) I read this in high school and it gutted me. I'm not sure if I am going to re-read or not... I'm so behind on all my other books right now.

message 3: by Antonia (new)

Antonia (presidentonia) | 28 comments I really want to read this book, but I don't think I can get to it this month.

Heather (dokushoka) I finished this this morning and I agree; it gutted me as well. I always knew the Holocaust was terrible, but every time I read another account of it I'm absolutely horrified it happened.
