With Angel asleep, her mother woke up and got to her feet. There was a worried look on her beautiful face as she went to her daughter's room to check on her. A sigh came forth noting Angel was sound asleep.

She didn't know what was going on and why would they kidnap her daughter the way they did. But one thing she did know, Angel's father would need to be told, not that Angel's mother wanted that. She didn't want to worry him as he was busy at 'work' and she knew hie didn't want his 'boss' to find them even with Angel's apparent ability to heal with a touch. Probably the only one able to do such, though Angel's mother didn't know that.

She sighed again. She would have to tell him.

Much later having contacted Angel's father, Mrs. Carmichael was dressing. She had work to do. Once dressed up, she left the apartment to go downstairs where her next 'appointment' awaited her.

They had a drink and Mrs. Carmichael had to wait for her daughter to leave the apartment, but both mother and daughter knew.

Shortly after her mother left, Angel's alarm clock went off and Angel grabbed up her jacket and left her room. She knew her mother had left and where so Angel grabbed up her set of apartment keys and left locking up behind her.

Her mother's daughter continued and Angel didn't want to be anywhere near the apartment.

She figured she'd go walking again, just to think and stuff.
