Awesome. Do you want me to start?
As a wild horse, Abyss ran free, through woods and pastures and even deserts and prairies, whenever he came across them. He was a horse that liked to travel the world a lot. He just liked being free, and that was something that was always in a wild horse's spirit. Because he was no ordinary horse, he could take himself to places easily just by flying. Currently, he was running through a pasture that was decorated with colorful wildflowers, his tail in the air and his extremely long mane blowing in the wind.
Cassie frowned, annoyed beyond belief that her friend had ditched her again to hang out with boys back on the farm. Whatever. Cassie didn't care, she enjoyed her free time out in the nature. When she was little she used to take Toga, her pinto pony, out into the woods. And then Toga died and she hadn't been on another horse since then. She used to be the best of the best at horse back, but now she would barely go near the horses. Sitting down at the edge of a pasture that bordered a forest, she picked at a piece of grass enjoying the silence.
Abyss neighed loudly as he ran, his tail lifting down and no longer being up in the air. He didn't always have his tail in the air when he ran, since it was so long. Soon he stopped near the edge of a forest, rearing once before looking around at his surroundings. He did not notice the girl, since he was a good thirty yards away from her, at least. And her scent hadn't gotten to him yet, since the wind was blowing in a certain direction to the point where he couldn't know she was there by her scent.
Getting to her feet slowly, brushing the dirt off she sighed softly. "All alone again" she mumbled and shivered at the cool summer breeze. Wrapping her arms arounds herself, she couldn't help but think this would have been a great to go riding. If only she still rode. Sometimes she hated living on a farm: constantly being surrounded by horses was always hard considering she missed her old horse so much. He had been her only friend. Turning and heading through the forest, Cassie didn't spot the horse.
But then Abyss spotted her. He was staring straight into the forest, looking at it curiously and seeing how inviting it was. He was about to go in there when he saw movement out of the corner of his red eye. He looked over and saw the distant form of the girl heading for the forest. He watched her for a while, his long forelock in his face, before he headed into the same forest.
Cassie frowned, hearing something as she whipped around to see a dark black shape. She found herself walking towards the shape with interest. Once she saw what it was, alarm bells rang through her head. A horse without a bridle or sadel was never a good thing. And yet, she couldn't stop but want to get closer to the gorgeous black animal. "Hey there" she whispered gently, a nervous look on her face.
Abyss stopped immediately at the sound of her voice. He didn't have his unicorn horn and wings out, so he looked like an ordinary horse, except for the red eyes, which were entirely red. He nickered, his ears pricking up as he looked at her, acting like he was tame, but then a moment later, he suddenly reared, neighing wildly. But he was not afraid one bit.
Her mouth formed a surprised O, but she didn't run away. "Hey, it's okay. I won't hurt you. I promise" she smiled letting the nerves ease away and took a few steps towards the large horse, admiring it with awe. Their was something about this horse that just.... well... it was different. The first horse she had been near since the death of her beloved Toga. "I'm a friend..." she took a nerve racking step closer to the wild black beauty.
Abyss didn't rear again as he listened to her calming voice. His ears moved at the sound of her voice as he stared straight at her, the breeze blowing his long mane gently. He flicked his tail once, and unlike any ordinary wild horses, he chose to take one step towards her before spotting some delicious-looking grass below his feet. He stretched his neck down and started quickly munching away.
She smiled a little and reached forward slowly running a hand over his neck. "Your adorable" she grinned waiting for his reaction, hoping it was a good one. Deep down she was absolutely terrified that this horse would freak or something bad like that. Once upon a time a long time ago, Cassandra would never have been scared of a horse. But than again, that was a long time ago. And Cassie was different now. Way different. Terrified and hating horses was her new personality.
Abyss didn't react immediately when she touched him. He chose to just take his sweet time, wanting to eat up those few, little patches of grass first. As she touched him, he started quickly eating up the grass that was extremely near her feet, his muzzle touching her shoes as he ate. Then he moved his head away from her feet and moved his head up, looking down at her.
"Can I name you?" She ran her fingers through his tangled and long mane, rubbing the hair in between her fingers. "Who am I kidding. Talking to horse. That's not strange at all" she smiled and removed her hands from his man, running a hand down his nose curiously. "I didn't even think their were wild horses this close to town. But whatever" she smiled as she continued talking to the animal, feeling something she hadn't felt in what seemed like forever.
Little did she know that Abyss could understand every word she said. His red eyes glowed darkly and almost sinisterly for a moment as he watched her, feeling rather amused inside. He decided not to say anything and let her pet him. The petting felt rather nice. His ears moved as she spoke, nickering quietly.
"Well your obviously a dude... And you look like that whimsy horse from flicks.... But your eyes..." She wrinkled her nose in thought before smiling brightly. "I'll have to get to know you better before I name you. I don't suppose you already have a name?" She waited for the reply that would never come. Tilting her head her fingers worked down his neck and to his back , frowning at how dirty he was. "If you behave I'll clean you off and feed you" she said while attempting to brush off as much dirt as she could with just her hands.
Abyss snorted and moved his tail back and forth before shaking his mane, shaking a little extra dirt off. He decided that he would get to know this girl as well and not say anything until who knows when he wanted to talk.
"Come on" she gently turned and started walking off towards her barn, glancing back to make sure he was following. If the horse didn't follow she would just get the brushes and what-not from the barn then come back here. Hopefully she would be able to find the horse again if he didn't follow. Her blonde hair was swept up into a messy ponytail and her skin was tan from days spent in the sun. When she wasn't being homeschooled she was always outside watching the animals on the farm or swimming in the nearby lakes or even just hanging out outside.
Shetan nickered quietly again, looking very interested now as he started following her, his neck stretching out a bit as he began to follow her. He walked slowly behind her.
She smiled and continued to walk, glancing back every once in a while. After a few moments they reached the farm and the small house Cassie and her family lived in. "Stay here" she said gently to the black horse before rushing over to the shed where they kept all the horse stuff and gear. She grabbed a bridle, a lead rope, and a couple of brushes and other cleaning things like a sponge and animal soap. The hose was by the side of the farm, closest to the horse. She figured it would be nice to wash him off after she brushed him. After she had gathered everything she needed, she rushed back over to the area where she had left the horse. The hose was only an inch or two away from them.
Shetan followed her to the house that she obviously lived in, stopping as she told him to and looking around. This area was all new to him, and he had never come this close to her house before. He had a tendency to stay away from houses, since he wasn't interested in having a bunch of people chasing him and wanting him and taking him away from his wild freedom. He looked back when he saw the girl come back out again, then he stared at the items in her hands, wondering what she was up to.

I'd like to play the horse.
