Name: Garrith Benat
Age: 19
Appearance: http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=m...
Personality: Garrith is very intelligent. He uses his smarts to the best of his abilities. He is respectful and modest. He never tries to show off or stand out. He is very outgoing and loves to meet new people.
Chase walked into the crowded restaurant that he always loved to go to. He worked his way through the crowd until he spotted his friend Abri. He quickly walked over to her, excited to tell her his plans for the night. "Abri!" He called out when he made it to her. He sat down in the seat next to her and smiled. "Got any plans for tonight?" He asked her with a mischievous grin on his face. "If not I have some for you."
Chase watched Lani walk away. He wondered why but quickly pushed the thought out of his mind and focused on Abri. "I really do." He nodded, answering her question. "But I'm not going to tell you what they are until you tell me if you have any other plans tonight, if so cancel then so you can hang out with your favorite person in the world, Chase." He winked at her playfully and began to stack the salt and pepper shakers up on the table top.
Chase sighed as his tower of salt and pepper shakers crashed down, making them spill the contents on to the table. He turned his attention back Abri, ignoring the mess. "Looks like you're canceling them." He told her. "Or." He said, thinking of a better plan. "Get her to come along with us. The more the merrier right?" He told her. "Get her to come so you can."
Chase watched Abri walk off. He was unsure how he could pressure someone like Lani to go with them tonight. He saw her coming towards him out of the corner of his eyes and smirked, trying to think of a way to get her to come. "Hello there." He smiled flirtatiously at her. He watched as she pulled a trash bin over to him and clean up his mess. "Some people don't know how to grow up." He shrugged at her then saw her dump a pile of the salt and pepper onto his pants. He coolly brushed it off onto the floor. "Looks like you don't know how to grow up either." He said to her, knowing she did it on purpose.
Chase watched as Lani cleared off some tables. He sat there watching her, tryin to think of ways he could convince her into coming with them tonight but he was pretty positive he would say no. She never went out after dark because her dad never let her. He began playing with the salt shakers again, being careful this time not to spill them. He finally mustered up a plan on getting her to come. "Hey Lani." He began. "I was wondering if you wanted to come to the beach after dark. Me and some friends are going to have a competition to see who's the better surfer. I've seen you surf before and I was wondering if you could teach them a lesson maybe, but if you're busy I understand. I did hear the waves were going to be killer though."
Chase laughed at her answer. "I knew you'd want to and I knew your dad wouldn't let you." He said and stood up out of his chair. "That's why he won find out about it. There's something called sneaking out Lani, you should do it sometime. Like tonight for example. Sneak out without your dad knowing, come down to the beach, show us what you got, then go back home before your dad finds out you're gone. It's as easy as that." He told her.
Chase chuckled at her. He wasn't surprised he got her to go tonight. He had always been good at persuading people to do things. All he knew was that he would hate him forever if her dad ever find out, but that wasn't his problem. He smirked at her. "We'll just have to see about that, sweet cheeks." He told her. "I'll see you tonight when I'm crushing you with my mad surfing skills." He teased and then left the restaurant.
Chase stood on the beach leaning against his surf board that was sticking out of the ground in the sand. His friends all stood in a circle doing the same. They were waiting for everyone to show up and Chase was especially waiting for Lani to show up. He hoped she would because he wanted her to show off her amazing surfing skills to his friends. He had tol them about her once before when he saw her surfing out here before, but they never believed him and now was his chance to make them believe.
Chase's eyes shifted to the figure that was running down the beach towards them. It was Lani. He just knew it. "I told you she'd come." He told his group of friends that didnt think she would. They thought that her dad wouldn't let her, which was exactly what Chase thought until he convinced her. "You came!" He called out to her as she got closer.
"Just between you and me." He said quietly to her when he got closer. "I was going to let you win so you won't embarress yourself in front of all these people." He smiled playfully at her. "Sweet cheeks." He returned. "You should start limbering up or something. You've got to beat all of us." He said, making a grand gesture to the large crowd behind him.
Chased rolled his eyes playfully. He took a step closer to her and rested a hand on her cheek. "I'd like that very much." He smiled at her, then took his hand back, knowing he probably crossed the line by doing that but he didnt care at all. "Well now that we have that all figure out why don't you show us what you got." He said and walked back to his friends. "Do you want to go first?"
Chase shrugged. "I guess you could say that." He didnt me d her smart comments, he actually thought they were highly attractive. He couldn't help but stare as she took her clothes off revealing her perfectly tan stomach. He stared at her more when she took up her board. "Show us what you got." He told her, snapping out of his gaze and thoughts. Was she hot or what?
Chase erupted with laughter when Lani told his friends offhe had to admit though, they were kind of creepy and staring at her, but he wasn't any better. He watched her run gracefully out to the water and paddle out. He really wanted her to show off her skills, maybe the she would get even more noticed, more noticed then she already did. "Go Lani!" He yelled after her.
Chase watched her shred the enormous waves with such grace and skill. Where had she learned how to do that? He was amazing. He watched her do a 360 in the air and knew that all of his friends were going to try it as soon as it was their turn. Then he watched as a very large wave crashes against Lani, taking her down under. He stood there for a moment, waiting for her to come back up, but she didnt. "She still under!" He yelled at his friends and they all ran down the beach into the water. They dipped and dived out of the waves, searching for her.
Garrith was out swimming. He loved the way the water felt tonight. Oer head the waves were intense. He felt bad for any stupid surfers that decided to try and master them. He floated around, not wanting to go back home. He looked up and saw a body plunge down into the water. It was a surfer. He couldn't just let whoever it was drown. He swam up with incredible speed and pulled her down under. Maybe his people would help her...
Garrith sat in front of the large window, looking at the girl he had saved from the waves. He had brought her here to save her, but he had done the complete opposite. His people took her and tied her down to a table then began to make markings on her, showing where to make an incise or draw blood. He watched it all play out in horror. He didnt want to watch it but he felt the need that he had to because he brought her into this. He felt a wave of relief when the scientists walked out of the room, leaving her alone. He saw her start to stir and instantly stood up.
Garrith watched with wide eyes as the girl began to thrash around on the table. Her heart great was insane and she neede to calm down enforce the scientists came in, but it was too late, they had already entered and they were already writing things down and staring at her like she was some type of animal, but she wasn't. She was a beautiful creature that Garrith had never seen before. He hadnt gotten to get a very good look at her, but from what he saw she was stunning. It hurt him to see her pinned down to the table, but he couldn't do anything to stop it. He is this to her. It wa all her fault. He wished that he would've just let her drown from the lack of air instead of saving her from it. That would have been a lot better then what he was watching now.
Garrith watched in horror as the scientists shocked the poor girl. He felt his blood boiling with anger as she screamed out in pain. Why were they doing this? They promised they would help her not harm her. They lied. They always lied. This is why he hate his kind. They were lying freaks of nature that didnt know how to treat people, and he was sadly one of them, but he couldn't just stand around and let them do this to the poor girl. He pounded on the glass angrily, trying to get them to stop, but he knew it wouldn't work. It never did...
Garrith watched the girl fight against the scientists. He was unsure what they were doing to her but he was positive by the way she was screaming that they were hurting her. He did this to her. He did the to that beautiful creature that would more than likely die because of him. "I'm sorry." He said quietly to himself as he watched them unlock her hands and stand her up. They cuffed her and walked her out the door. He stop there waiting for them to walk out. When they did he yelled at them. "Leave her alone!" He could feel the anger rising up in him again. "She hasn't done anything to you! Just let her go!"
Garrith glared at him with hateful eyes. He wasn't going to be quiet until they let her go and stopped torturing her. He watched as they unlocked her and threw her at him. He caught her with strong capable and held her tightly against his chest, willing her not to be scared and not wanting them to take her away. They wanted him to lock her up in a cell. He couldn't. He couldn't do that to her. She hadnt done anything wrong to deserve this. "To hell with this advanced society!" He yelled before walking down the hallway with the girl still in his arms. He had a plan.
Garrith took the girl down the long corridor. He was conjuring up the entire plan inside of his head. He needed to get her out of here. He silently swore on his life that no matter what happened she would make it out of here alive with his help even if he died in the process. She was such a beautiful creature, so radiant. It pained him so much to think of all the other expirements the scientists would do on her later. He couldn't let that happen. He brought her here thinking it would help, but it didnt. It was his fault she was being injured and that she was so terrified. Garrith felt her trying to get out of his arms by dragging her feet along the floor. He looked down in enough time to see her fall from his arms. He leaned down quickly and caught her in his arms once again.
Garrith released her from his arms when she tried to squirm away. He wasn't going to force her into them if she didnt want to be in them. He knew exactly how she felt about not wanting to be locked up and he nodded in understanding. He wished she would've just went along and he would've gotten her out without saying a word about his plan. He could see the tears forming in her once bright eyes and he wanted more then anything to wrap her back up in a hug, but she probably wouldn't let him. "I won't." He finally said. "I have a plan."
Garrith nodded. He saw her start to shiver and instantly had the urge to wrap her in a tight, warm hug, but he knew she would probably reject him on the spot. He knew the exact way of the exit, he just wasn't sure who was going to stop them and when it was going to happen so they needed to make it quick without being caught. She would need a disguise and the bikini wasn't helping one bit. She didnt fit in at all and she needed something to cover he up and make her look like she some what belonged here. Garrith slid out of his heavy over coat and handed it gently to her. "You're going to need this." He took her. He hadnt realized how cold it was until he stripped down to only his grey t-shirt and his dark pair of pants. He could only imagine how she felt only wearing a bikini when he had a slight shiver from being fully clothed.
"Yeah." Garrith nodded. They needed to get to a storage room maybe. He needed to find her clothes that actually covered her and looked normal so that she might pass as one of their own. He put a firm hand on her back an guided her forwards, trying to keep her stable. He walked closely beside her and with each step the collar of his shirt came down a little, revealing his gills. He could feel then sticking out every so often, but he didnt care if she saw then because at this point nothing mattered but to get her fat away from this place. "In here." He said softly as they walked upon a storage room GE opened the door and switched on the light, searching for clothes.
Garrith found what he was looking for. He walked back to the door and closed it tightly and locked it so no one else would enter. He knelt down in front of the girl so he was eye level with her. He handed her the clothing he found which was the same exact over coat she had on only in her size, a black t-shirt, and dark jeans. "I want you to get dressed in these. I'm going to get you out of here. I made a big mistake and I need to fix it." He told her, looking straight into her eyes so she could tell the he was being honest and sincere. He didnt want anything else to happen to her and that was why he needed to get her far far away. He stood back up and looked down at her. He saw the cuts on her wrists and ankles. He turned back around and searched for something that would help. He turned to face her with some peroxide, cream, and gauze. "Let me see." He said, holding out his hands for her to give him her wrists.
Garrith sighed deeply but didnt pull his hands back. He just wanted to help her so she wasn't in pain, but she was obviously confused and he didnt blame her. She got sucked in by a wave and then woke up strapped to a metal table while strange creatures did tests on her. Then an even stranger man pulled her into a closet. He needed to explain everything to her, but he couldn't. Not here. Not now. He swore that he would as soon as he got her out of here where she was safe and far away from his race. "Listen." He told her, looking right into her eyes. He needed her to listen and understand, but he wasn't sure if she would. "I'm trying to help." He said calmly. "Let me just see your wrists so I can treat them."
Garrith waited a while, seeing if she would actually do it. He didnt expect her to give him her hands. He was just trying to make a friendly gesture and help her. When she actually gave then to him he was surprised, but took then anyways. He took the peroxide and dumped it on her wrists, not caring if it got on the floor, he just needed to clean her wounds. Once he let it settle, he dried it off as gently as he could then rubbed the cream on it. When he finished rubbing it into her cuts he took the gauze an wrapped them around her wrists and cut them off with his teeth. He hoped that the sleeves of the jacket he gave her would cover it up.
Garrith put all the items back in a box and turned back to the girl. They were running out of time. People were going to go check on her in her cell but she wasn't there. They would start searching for her, and him since he didnt do his job. No one here actually liked him so now they would have a reason to kill him. His eyes darted back to the clothes he had given to her. He wished that she wouldn't already put them on, but he was sure that she wanted privacy. "Put those on." He told her before unlocking the door and opening it. "Come out when your finished." He said before stepping out and closing it once again.
Garrith stood outside the door waiting. He was wondering how long it took her to get dressed because she was taking a while and they needed to leave before people notice she wasn't in her cell. He heard voices down the hall. They needed to leave, but he didnt want to barge in on her wen she was in the middle of changing. The thought of that made him blush slightly. He knocked lightly on the door, hoping the people in the hall wouldn't hear. "We need to go." He whispered loud enough for her to hear.
