Hello everyone, my name is Mala, and I am an international development practitioner based out of New York City.

I wanted to drop by and introduce my debut novel, The Circumstance of Marriage, which follows three generations of women from 1950s India to present-day NYC. Each of the women battles distinct forms of discrimination, and must learn how to support each other to move forward.
