Hello, Michael, and thanks for the introduction. I have one published novel (Yeager's Law) with a sequel (Yeager's Mission) scheduled for publication in 2016. Both with Red Adept Publishing.

In addition, I have a series being edited and published through Divertir that should come out this year as well, in the mystery/crime genre.

And finally, I have a sci-fi novel being published through Driven Press that will ALSO hit in 2016.

This year will be a busy one for me on the publication front.

Hello. I'm Ernie and I've written three books so far (mysteries) and have one in the works that I think will be classified more as general fiction. However, I currently have one in the planning stages that I think (hope) will be much more in the thriller category.

Hey everyone. I write what I suppose would be called "Supernatural Thrillers" although I like to work in many different genres and sometimes mash them all up.

I'm Shine. I started writing FANFICTIONS in 2011 before I started writing my own original stories around in 2013. I also wrote my own song lyrics in 2013.

I'm still writing my own stories, but it took me awhile to get it all right. Because I've failed some of the writing rules.

The writing rules I've failed, before I improved myself, were:
1. "SAID" is dead!
2. SHOW! Not Tell!
3. Add more details instead of talkings.

Hello, thank you for the invitation. Nice idea for a group. I've had two medical thrillers published and am working on the third. Thrillers remain my favorite genre to read too.

I write supernatural thrillers/mysteries. I just joined International Thriller Writers but I'm not all that active yet. Lots of great authors in this organization.

I have three books published and lots of short stories. I'm a hyprid: self-pubbed for ebooks but Indie-pubbed for print with Crispin Books. I'm also a freelance copy editor by trade.

I am a member. They are hugely helpful to debut authors, and so nice. And yes I am planning on going to their convention in July.

I'm not debut author. I have 3 novels out and some short stories published. I do want to get more involved with them but since my books are supernatural thrillers, I feel like I might be off the mark.

I wouldn't worry about that. My novel isn't a conventional thriller either. They are very welcoming and definitely worth joining for all authors I think not just debuts.

I am Mike, and I have written two international suspense thrillers, one situated in both Munich and Saudi Arabia, where I was a professor at the University of Petroleum and Minerals, and the other set on the Caribbean island of St. Croix, where I was a professor at the University of the Virgin Islands.

I'm E.J. I write suspense/thrillers usually involving detectives and/or FBI in some way and they all take place in New Orleans. I've been traditionally published once and self published two. I'm currently searching for an agent or publisher.

Hi, everyone and thank you Michael for inviting me to the group. I definitely want to write thrillers and I devour them as a reader. I love reading thrillers, suspense, and mysteries but NOT cozy mysteries. I don't like fluffy books like the cozies.

Anyway, I am Terri and I am a mystery/suspense/thriller addict and would love to make a contribution to the genres. I am glad to be a part of the group and hope to get to know and encourage my fellow writers.

Personally, I love suspense, police/procedural/legal thrillers/ psychological suspense/and cozy mysteries.

Hi there everyone and thanks for the invite, Michael. I've been working on this for a few years. Studying and writing and getting closer and closer to self-publishing. I am working with a group of local would-be writers meeting once a week. Next we will be holding study workshops. I am particularly fond of writing books by James Scott Bell and Larry Brooks. I look forward to scintillating discussions with y'all about Oxford commas, using "like" in every sentence and using "goes" in place of "says." It's a wunnerful time for writing, eh?

Hi All, I have published 5 topical thrillers over the last two years including a trilogy last year featuring Powell, which I am pleased to say has been very successful. I intend to publish 2 further books featuring Powell this year. Looking forward to chatting with you all.

Hello and thanks for the invitation! I have the first book in a mystery series with an agent who is shopping it around to traditional publishers. I also am wrapping up a standalone mystery that I plan on self-publishing this autumn. Another mystery series, set in NYC during WWII is in the works.

In my non writing time, I work for Pearson helping to develop and deploy software used by authors and editors. I also teach business report writing as an adjunct at IUPUI.

The rest is devoted to reading and Xbox One time.

...and a special thanks to Michael for asking me to join this group. Most of my novels can be classified as either thrillers or mysteries or combinations, and sometimes they'e set in the future, so they're also sci-fi.
Beyond my fiction, I've tried to give back to readers and writers by reviewing books, interviewing authors, and posting articles about the writing business. In particular, I've offered a free course on writing fiction that complements King's On Writing and the article "The Eightfold Way" about what NOT to do was reposted to several online websites (fair warning--my opinions are often several sigmas away from the norm).

The only thing more exciting than writing is reading...well, ignoring a few other things to keep this PG.
My fires were smoldering for a long time as I provided for my family and helped a few relatives. About 10+ years ago, I couldn't wait any longer. So far the fires haven't consumed me. :-)
When I started out, I did exactly what you did--I call it lurking in authors' discussion groups. It's amazing what one can learn!
Michael has started a nice cozy group where lots of ideas can be exchanged. Welcome.
