I read in the evening before bed. It is one time I know it will be quiet and I can slow down enough to focus.

Hi Joanne,
That's a great time to read!
Hi Joanne,
That's a great time to read!
I often read in the evening, too. I also have a habit of carrying a book with me most of the time, as it comes in handy if I end up in a waiting room, or in the pick-up zone for my child's practices or rehearsals, and so on.

I try to do that also but sometimes I fall asleep after just a few pages. What I really love is getting into bed on a rainy or snowy day when I don't have to go anywhere and just reading the day away.
I'm usually reading two books at a time. I have a hardcover book but also an audiobook on my phone. If I'm driving to work, or stuck in traffic, I'm listening to a book!
I often read during my lunch-time while my students are out of the room but mostly read before bed. If I have some free time between plans I work in some reading time as well.
I try and read a little before bed or sometimes right when I get in from work to unwind. I also usually spend the first hour or so reading on the weekends. I try to get all my work done at school so I can spend my free time reading & relaxing! I don't seem to ever have time to read at school unless I'm reading with my students!

When else do you find (or make) the time to read? What's your favorite time of day to read?
