I updated my January favourite in message 29. It wasn't easy since I've read such great books this month, but my favourite was: Memoirs of an Imaginary Friend by Matthew Dicks.
I updated my message number 2 to add my favorite for January. I just could not decide so I cheated and added two titles - Georgia: A Novel of Georgia O'Keeffe and Thomas Murphy. This got me thinking that some months I may list a favorite because it's the one I liked best that particular month but there may be one I liked a lot more in another month that I didn't list . So when I'm doing a year end favorite list based on monthly favorite I may miss it . I'm going to keep that in mind each month . Highly recommend both of those books.
edited message 26.The only book I've read in January but it's also worth to stay on a best-book-list: Les Misérables
Angela--added Thomas Murphy to my TBR. Georgia was already there. I agree Les Mis is worthy of any "best" list. I have added Lamb in His Bosom as my January favorite. I have decided to only consider books that are being read for the first time. This one was amazing and I was shocked that I had never come across it before.
Sara wrote: "Wow, that sounds like a marvelous read, Chrissie!"Excellent book. It is also a movie now, but I prefer books.
Jennifer wrote: "This is a horrible thread. My to-read just keeps getting longer."lol. Jennifer, I have that same problem.

Sara, I have added that o my lists.

Will start that in the beginning of March.
Jennifer wrote: "This is a horrible thread. My to-read just keeps getting longer."I agree with Jennifer, this is killing me. Already functioning on 6 hours of sleep......lol

You need sleep? lol.
I've just added many books to my TBR list, thanks to the wonderful books listed.Chrissie, I have Testament Of Youth in my overflowing pile of books here at home. I'm so glad to hear that you loved it. I'll try to get to it soon.
I have added my favorite book for January to post 9. It was the sci-fi book, After the Fall, Before the Fall, During the Fall. This is the second of Nancy Krell's books that I've read and have enjoyed them both. She writes realistic sci-fi (with humans; not robots or such) and that makes it seem real and possible.
Petra, I am confident you will like Testament of Youth. I am so glad you are NOT listening to the audio.
