I'm curious about this one, never read this author before. Seems like an interesting storyline, and also love the number of pages, (about 500)!
Awesome WriterThis is one of the writers I recommended least month I believe I own about 20 or so of her books. I love her!!!!
This is the first book I've read from Maureen Smith, and believe me, I'll be adding more of hers to my queue! This is one of the best romances I've read lately.
Welcome to the world of Maureen Smith! I can't wait for more of y'all to finish reading so we can discuss hurry hurry
I enjoyed this book so much. I have to admit I was waiting for the lead male to show his Jackass side, but it never came. My favorite memory of him is when he defended his woman, even when the attack was coming from his own mama. I have nothing but good things to say about this read, even though I'm behind on posting my review. Who ever recommended this book did an awesome job...loved it.
Im only a couple of chapters in, but Im into it. I like the relationship between Nadia and her brother.
Gisele: Me too, Nel's is too sweet and is written as a Great Big Brother....even though they're twins.
I enjoyed this book too . Maureen writes really well and I love books over 300+ pages. Makes me feel I got my money's worth. My one complaint is that it was too straight forward. I kept expecting some major event,, but nope, it just a straight romance, with a nice cast of characters
That's true. I loved this book but no major event. The writing was good, and I did feel I got my money's worth. I'll have to check out her other stuff. I felt down right giddy by the end of this. Had a toothache it was so sweet.
My first book by Ms. Smith and definitely won't be my last. It's been a long time since a book kept me up till wee hours of the morning and still had me thinking about. I can't wait for the second book.
All of my favs in one book…interracial romance with a sports theme and it's a series. WOW!!! This was my first book by Maureen Smith and it was great. I can't wait for the second installment.
This book was so good, made me start watching hockey games. I loved this story, and how my hero was ready to love and to be loved. How they dealt with ignorance of racism, and family wanting control. I really enjoyed this love story, and did I mention that is was hot hot hot !

"From USA Today Bestselling Author Maureen Smith comes a sizzling new interracial romance series featuring four sexy-as-sin hockey stars who lose their hearts on the road to winning the Stanley Cup...
Wicked Games (Book #1)
College recruiter Nadia Warner has sworn off jocks for good. So when her sports reporter brother drags her out to a hockey practice, the last thing she’s looking for is romance. But when she locks gazes with hockey superstar Reid Holden, all bets are off….
Reid is the resident bad boy of the Denver Rebels. On the ice, he delivers bone-crushing hits that often land him in the penalty box. Off the ice, he has a reputation for snubbing reporters, partying hard and breaking hearts. No woman has ever been able to crack his tough shell…until Nadia comes along.
When their eyes meet, the electricity between them is hot enough to melt the ice beneath Reid’s feet. In exchange for giving Nadia’s brother a quote for his column, Reid wants an introduction to Nadia.
But that’s just the beginning….
