My book is murder by art an I am going to talk about dr Maxine Cassidy. She is an er doctor that is very hard working and a brave woman she is very curious enough to investigate someone's death and investigate her patients death
I choose Kate Jensen from the book Death In The Jojo. Kate is a reporter in the book who does investigation. At first, she was to investigate the death of a Karate master in a Dojo. But, while she is in the process of the investigation, another death follows up. So, things went uneasy, Kate travels to Japan too to investigate this death case. I find Kate an interesting character in the book Death In The Jojo and she is also the main character.
I choose the character Laura Fairlie from the book The Woman In White. Laura is a sweet and nice girl. She's likable in her own way, and her negative character traits potentially have some weight and reason behind them. Laura rarely acts for herself, and she doesn't speak much. She's one of the characters who never tells her own story in her own words; she always speaks through Walter or Marian.
I chose the character Oliver Twist from the book Oliver Twist. (see what i did there ;)) Oliver Twist is a small, fragile, innocent-looking little boy who is extremely lonely. All his life, he has no friend that he could turn to. Not only friendless, Oliver is also an orphan with no idea of his identity at all. He is a very strong young kid as he has been exposed to harsh labour, extreme bullying and abuse-giving him misery to last more than a lifetime. Oliver is also quite a gullible young boy, leaving him to be kidnapped. But even after all the cruelty the world has given him, Oliver remains a kind hearted, gentle person who has shown nothing but mercy and kindness to others.
I chose Flora Poste from Cold comfort farmFlora Poste is modeled after heroines of fiction, particularly of Jane Austen, who Flora compares herself to. She is nineteen and her parents have just died when the novel begins. Rather than work, she wants to find relatives she can live with. As she doesn't like things to be untidy, her goal is to tidy up any family messes she might find. Flora was not close to her parents and barely knows any of her relatives as she spent her childhood at boarding schools and most of her holidays with the family of her friend, Mary Smiling. She was forced to endure sports at school as it was her father's passion, but she did not care for them at all. She mentions she doesn't much care for people in general, yet over the course of the novel she expresses a lot of compassion for the Starkadder clan...
