Definitely a series I recommend. I grabbed these books because of their covers, and then read the whole series in a weekend because it's that good! I hope you guys enjoy it!

Chapter 6

This is really good so far. I don't think I have read a book in a world set like this before, and it is really interesting.

Ana (view spoiler)[I don't think she would just be here for one lifetime if everyone else is there forever. She should listen to what Sam is telling her and just try to decide who she is, not search for herself. (hide spoiler)]

It is still really good. I'm not really sure where the story is going though.

The Council (view spoiler)[ It seems like Li influenced the council into thinking Ana is bad, so they are kind of out to get her. I don't think they will let her go to the party. (hide spoiler)]

Ch. 6

Li (view spoiler)[ even if she didn't understand why she had a nosoul child, she should never have treated her that way. She is the one who got pregnant and your child is yours no matter. None of us are promised a "normal" child. Ugh...awful "mother." (hide spoiler)]

Ana (view spoiler)[is pretty gutsy. I agree with you that she must have a special purpose for not being a reborn. She should have the same opportunity as others so perhaps she will be a reborn and/or start a new species, so to speak. (hide spoiler)]

I have never read a book with a world like this either that I can recall. I personally don't believe in reincarnation but it's a different world and an interesting concept with (view spoiler)[ EVERYONE being a reborn. But WHY would Ana not be like the others? I'm thinking she has a special purpose. (hide spoiler)]

I thought this was a great book. It was a very interesting topic.

This story is so well-written. I love it so far!

Sam (view spoiler)[has been nothing but good to her so far. I'm at the part where they just arrived in Heart and Ana isn't allowed to go in. I don't know what's going to happen but Sam isn't hearing it!! LOL He was SO sweet to read to her for so long as to get hoarse. He is very attentive and caring. (hide spoiler)]

Ana (view spoiler)[on the other hand has really been rude and kind of mean to Sam, but I guess it's understandable since she's never known love. How sad is that, that her mother would have told her things like she couldn't heal from Sylph burns and she doesn't have a soul. I think Sam is right and she DOES have a soul. (hide spoiler)]

Sam(view spoiler)[ He is very caring of Ana. I like the fact that he always calls her a newsoul, not a nosoul. (hide spoiler)]

Yeah, it was 20% off at Barnes and Nobel online the other day, so I just had to order them. I would definitely love to continue this series with you. :)

They aren't on sale but I ordered them so I'll have them in a couple days. Woo hoo! I ended up with the paperbacks though because the hardbacks were too much more.

Awesome! I'm excited. I always love getting books in the mail. Too bad they weren't on sale still though. I also bought the paperbacks. Sometimes the hardcovers are just not worth the price.

I agree about the hardcovers BUT sometimes the covers are so pretty or elegant like that I have to have the hardcover, or at least I want it. LOL

I know what you mean. I buy a lot of books just because the cover looks good, and I don't usually read what the book is about before I buy it either. The only thing I don't like about hardcovers is that they usually come out first, so you are forced to buy either that or the ebook, and I don't like to buy the ebook if it is over $6.

Good point! I have bought ebooks that are more than that but I couldn't store all the books if they were all physical copies.

And I'm JUST LIKE YOU! I rarely read the summary of a book if I love the cover!! If I'm iffy about the cover, I might read the summary but the cover is what sells me!

I am loving this book.

Sam (view spoiler)[really seems to genuinely care about Ana. I don't know why he's taken a liking to her but I really like him. Being killed by dragons 30 times and remembering painful deaths would be awful! (hide spoiler)]

Ana (view spoiler)[doesn't accept that she is really liked and that Sam doesn't have an agenda, but maybe she's right. She's leaving for that party now. I'm afraid someone will attack her on her way there. (hide spoiler)]
