the gardens were once much like the ivory meadows and filled with well-tended, fragrant flowers. those flowers are still there, but now the gardens are used as training grounds for the resistance magic users, as well as soldiers-in-training.

Raven stepped into the gardens with Silver and took her position opposite of Silver. "Okay. Try to attack me," she said.

Silver sent an strong blast of magic at Raven.

Raven used her magic to create wind, pushing Silver's magic away from her. "Try again," she told Silver encouragingly.

"Oh! Look it is the Queen!" Silver put magic into her words hoping she would turn. She shot another blast.

Raven hissed, glancing behind her before realizing it was a trick and quickly putting up an invisible wall. Silver's magic hit it hard and force Raven to stumble back, the wind knocked from her.

Silver smiled. "Nearly. And I made you hiss!" Silver shot another one that curved behind her.

Raven pushed the magic away with some more magic. "Good job! You didn't stop to check if I was okay. That's good! You caught me off guard- we might need that later."

"Glad you think that is ok." Silver shot 4 rapidly. They went in all directions.

Raven ducked two of the shots and deflected one, but the last one hit her, making her stumble and fall to the ground.

Silver shot 2 more.

Raven groaned, holding her arm, where Silver's magic had hit her. She managed to stop the rest of the magic by throwing up another wall of magic.

"You want me to stop?" Silver called out rising a wall around her.

"No, go ahead and continue!" Raven replied, trying to seem stronger than she was really feeling.

Silver shot 3 more at her chest. And a 4th one at her back. She put only enough power in the to stun.

Raven managed to stop the fourth blast- she had a good defense built up- but the third one grazed her already wounded spot, giving her a painful shock.

"Let me know if you want me to stop!" Silver called throwing 5 more.

"S-stop!" Raven shouted, ducking to avoid the magic. "Give me a second, will you?" she called to Silver.

Silver put up a wall and looked at Raven. "What is wrong?"

"Just injured, that's all. Give a moment to heal myself, all right?" Raven panted, pressing her hand to her injured arm. There was a faint gray light that spread all along the painful area, then died out. When the whole affair was over, Raven stood, looking invigorated.

Silver shot two more slower.

Raven easily deflected those, using magic to make a staff grow in her hands. The ends of the staffs burst into wild flames, acting as a shield.

"Cool!" Silver spun, throwing 5 more rapidly.

Raven managed to get rid of those as well. "Hey! You want to work on your defense?" she called to Silver.

"Sure." Silver raised a wall all around her.

"And here we go," Raven muttered, forming a wave of water that headed straight for Silver and her wall.

Silver raised two more walls. So all the damage was that it knocked her back a little.

Raven paused, composing herself, then using one of her more powerful attacks- a ring of fire that closed in on Silver's walls.

Silver shot magic in powerful thrusts at her feet causing her to fly up. She catapulted herself over the flames. Damage: Burnt clothes.

Raven managed to land on her feet, but there was a painful tingling in her feet. She sent a strong stream of air to swirl around Silver so she'd be knocked off her feet.

Silver was knocked backward. She rolled up. Silver raised a wall of air.

Raven frowned, trying to find a way around Silver's defense. She tried using fire again, sending sparks of fire around Silver.

Silver raised a wall of water around her. "Are you sure?" Her voice rang as clear as a bell.

Raven narrowed her eyes, reviewing her options. She quickly made her fire blaze hotter and stronger, turning Silver's water to steam. "Oh, yes, I'm sure!" she called back in response.

Silver was turning the steam back into water each time and adding more water.

Raven growled softly, retracting her fire. She called for the metal in the earth to come to her. Multiple pieces of copper and steel erupted from the ground and swirled around Raven before heading for Silver, as fast as speeding bullets.

Silver saw them coming and raised a earth shield. Damage: Three cut her arms.

Raven tried going on offensive. Her staff appeared in her hands and began smoking as it turned into fire. She ran towards Silver, ready to use her weapon, twirling it in her hands as an intimidating attack move.

Silver ran toward Raven and flipped over her. She kicked her in the back. Damage: Burned her arms.

Raven painfully forced herself up on one knee, swinging her staff around so that Silver lost her footing.

Silver somersaulted backward, onto her feet. She sent a blast at Raven's knee.

((We can stop and do something else at anytime.))

Raven got to her feet and scampered away. She tried another attack but it was unsuccessful.

Silver sent two balls of water at Raven's chest.

Raven used fire to turn the water to steam. She raised a wall of ice, which she sent towards Silver.

Silver blasted air at her feet to rocket herself up. She landed on top of the wall and leaped over Raven shooting water at her. She lander with a little stumble.

Raven used the moment to release a small whirlwind, letting it spin towards Silver.

Silver sent blast of wind at it just to avoid it.

Raven ducked to the side, avoiding Silver's wind. She paused for a moment. "Hey! Do you want to take a break?" she asked.

"Depends if it is a trick." Silver rose a wall.

"No, it isn't! We could go explore!" Raven replied.
