Young Adult at Heart discussion

What did you like or dislike about this book? Did you like the characters? The character development? Were there things that should have been done differently, or do you think the author hit the nail on the head?

I liked the book but I felt the characters were somewhat underdeveloped. There also wasn't a lot of explanation of the setting, of 'New Beijing' and its history. The prejudice against cyborgs was only slightly touched on (when Aldri asked if Cinder could even feel love). It would have been interesting to see if Cinder struggled with feelings like that herself, rather than just her worries about people hating her for being a cyborg.

I have not really enjoyed this book. I thought it was a story without character, the characters lack a bit of depth. I'm not into history of this book. He did not transported to another universe.
