Summary: This book was set 3 years after the accident in if I stay. Three years after Mia and Adam had seen each other. Three years since the pain, and grief. Adam became a famous singer in his band, and Mia decided to go to Julliard. Wasting no time grieving she was determined to go there. It gave her time to keep her mind off of everything she just lost. Adam had changed a lot by this point, he got caught up in behind famous. Drugs, alcohol and women started to take over his life. He now has a rebound girlfriend, who is an actress. Helping him keep his mind off of Mia. Three years later they see each other as Adam watches Mia perform. They begin to feel all the old feelings, all the old emotions and start to love again. It offered the happy ending for those who didn't get that in if I stay. They rekindled their realationship in a night out. When Adam realizes that he wants Mia he ends it with Bryn. Mia and Adam slowed down both their careers and started to figure out ways to see each other more.
Personal Opinion: This book was definitely good to offer closure to if I stay. I honestly wouldn't put it down. It has some bad language in it, which I feel offered an even better understanding to the real emotions felt. It was just a night, and the book was filled with so many flashbacks which some times took over the present time, but I also felt as if it offered some insight into the real life of Adam and how he really felt looking back. I would say to anyone to read this book if they loved if I stay, this offers the ending that we all hoped for. I really enjoyed reading it, but would say make sure you read if I stay before, or have seen it. I loved how it showed that time can pass, but sometimes that love still burns within us. It showed you can love someone again no matter the amount of time, or the amount of pain, sorrow, and the amount of fame you have. Love will always overcome that, with the one you need.
