I have just bought this. The title and the synopsis caught my interest. I'll start reading it and get back with my first impression tomorrow. Shalom,
Patricia
I have read about two thirds of this book. It is great so far I hope there will not be any major shake ups but it has been awesome so far. A must read for all IRR fans.

Another enjoyable story by Ms. Vasser! Didn't quite buy Ms. Thang (Elise) going to see Kevin in prison. I could see her sending someone else (with all her connections and money) to make him an offer he wouldn't want to refuse but her getting herself "dirty" in an obvious way seemed out of character, especially since was doing a lot of behind the scenes stuff. I was glad Cricket wasn't fooled by her one bit.Otherwise Cricket (love that name)/Jade and Cole kept me turning to pages to see if they could over come the time, life changes, and damages to be the knit together couple they were destined to be back when they were children.
This was the first book that I've read by this author and I was not disappointed. Jade and Cole's connection was sweet and believable from the moment they met as kids, up until their reunion. I was so glad Jade was no pushover when it came to Elise. She never let Elise push her around but she kept it classy. I didn't like the head hopping with point of view. I prefer to stay in one character's head per scene. I also felt Elise should have been arrested for her part. Overall I thought the characters were fun as well as the storyline. I will definitely read more by this author.
I enjoyed this storyline. :). The characters were believable, situation and circumstances could happen and I loved how Cole was totally oblivious to his connection to Jade but everyone else saw it. Even when a client of his was flirting with her how he kindly dissuaded any potential hookups. Hehehe. He marked his territory pretty strongly. The funny part about that was how he didn't mix business with pleasure, yet he had the client at his house with his girlfriend who should have been seen as family. (Just something I thought about when I read that part.)
I have read other books by Ms. Vasser and I enjoyed this one. She is one of my go-to authors. I did like the storyline. Jade had a lot to overcome and Cole was too funny in his oblivion to his true feelings. I am glad they found each other and I rooted for them both. I liked the other characters as well, especially Carmen.
I was thinking about this story some more and Ms Vasser did a really, really good job on Cole's character. I was thinking about the male mind and when they talk and they really have no clue when there is someone interested in them. Now, I'm not saying that's true of all men, but there is a good size number of them who have this same mindset in regards to females. :)

"Cricket Anderson and Cole Thornton were throwaways. The outside world didn’t have room for them. Yet, from the tender age of nine, all they had was each other…until they didn’t. Not only were promises broken but so was Cricket’s heart.
Focused and driven to create a life made of dreams, Cole Thornton succeeded only to be left feeling empty and alone. Ten years later, a chance encounter brings him together with the one person he’s ever felt connected to – an angry, disconnected and broken woman.
They say time heals all wounds. But, can two damaged souls discover love and mend their hollowed hearts? Find out in The Right Side of My Pillow.
