I don't have time to write too many spoilers or I won't finish the book on time, but...

Blaire: (view spoiler)[ In my opinion, she slept with him so no matter what, he has a right to his child! The only thing that would change that for me is if she found out he was a child molester or put the child in danger. (hide spoiler)]

Rush: (view spoiler)[ I think he's very sincere. He loves Blaire and he just has to figure out how to make it work with his family or choose her and the baby (hide spoiler)]

Woods: (view spoiler)[ I really do love him. He's a GOOD guy! He is basically "giving" them the condo. What a sweetheart. I also like how he told Rush to put his sister in check or HE would. LOL (hide spoiler)]

Nan: (view spoiler)[ NO change! Some bitches never change! LOL (SORRY!) I think that if anything changes her thinking, it will be the baby. (hide spoiler)]

Blaire: (view spoiler)[ This poor girl always jumps to conclusions, but if she's going to even TRY to make it work with Rush, she needs to ask him about the various situations that bother her before deciding to leave him or that he's not in love with her. Her insecurities will follow her. (hide spoiler)]

Rush: (view spoiler)[ I felt so bad for him that he missed the doctor appointment to hear his baby's heartbeat. His forgetting the appointment under the circumstances is understandable, but I think I'd be upset too that he didn't at least call back. He DOES love her though! (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[: I am really glad that Rush finally knows about the baby and that he is doing what he can to take care of Blaire and the baby. I can't STAND Nan!!! (hide spoiler)]

Okay, before you get too far into the end of the book, get a box of tissues! There is a HUGE twist that I wasn't expecting, and I don't think you will be either!

Blaire: (view spoiler)[ I am SO glad that her father told her the whole truth!! I loved her heart that she didn't lord it over him, but she didn't want him to be alone out in the world. I love what a good person she is. (hide spoiler)]

Rush: (view spoiler)[ He almost lost her again! Both of them are too quick to think "I'm not worthy...I'll ruin his/her life." But thank GOD they finally figured it all out, especially for the baby's sake! I think Rush will make an amazing father, and I KNOW Blaire will be a fantastic mother. If they can keep it out of the bedroom long enough to take care of the baby. LOL (hide spoiler)]

Nan: (view spoiler)[ I was afraid that she might die. I'm glad she didn't, and because she asked if Blaire would allow her in her niece or nephew's life, I am SURE that she and Blaire will become friends. I assume that once Nan knows she isn't sisters with Blaire, there will no longer be that competition. I'm happy for a happy ending that I envision. LOL (hide spoiler)]

Blaire's dad: (view spoiler)[ OMG! I was SO glad to hear him tell her that he loves her! That goes MILES! He is the one who sent Blaire to Rush because he KNEW! I love that when a girl's daddy knows her and her man that well. He knew they were somehow meant to be together. I also feel for him that he lost both Val and Blaire's mother. I'm also happy for Blaire that her mother was NOT the cheat that she'd been led to beleive! (hide spoiler)]

Ending: (view spoiler)[ I am SO glad they ended up HEA! I was scared for a minute that we'd have this "break-up so I don't ruin your life" ending! I was ready to go after Glines! I love that he was brought to tears, as it should be. (hide spoiler)] I'm ready for book 3. LOL

Rush (view spoiler)[ I know she will make everything ok again. Blair just needs to give him that chance! I didn't like him very much in book 1, but I'm hoping I like him better in this one! I just hope there are not "misunderstandings," like with any girls and then Blair is thinking it's more than what it was! That would really suck! lol! (hide spoiler)]

With her not telling him, she was taking away his choice of whether or not he was going to be involved in their lives. I'm glad she told him about seeing Meg flirting with him too because she was about to make another decision for him concerning their relationship and taking off when she would be beginning to show. Everything is looking right as rain right now! (hide spoiler)]

Rush (view spoiler)[ He needed to be told that he hasn't done anything to make Blair feel secure in their relationship! He keeps telling her that he loves her, but actions tell too! I'm glad they are working it out! (hide spoiler)]

I hope so too because we're reading it with our freshmen this year. I guess it has a lot of figurative language and themes for discussion. Etc.

Yes, I show them Romeo and Juliet, Of Mice and Men, and Hunger Games. But HG is a long book to teach so we're switching to Speak this year.
