Louise | 589 comments Nominations for June's group read are now open!

Another Open Choice month so any book in any genre, the only rule is that it must be written by a woman.

Users are allowed to nominate one book each. To make sure the correct book makes it into the poll, please include both the title of the book and the author's name when nominating (ideally using the goodreads 'add book/author' button).

Nominations will close at the end of April, when the poll goes up. The poll will close on 7th May.

Nominations:
Blind Goddess by Anne Holt
In the Woods by Tana French
The Glorious Heresies by Lisa McInerney
Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston
The Tea Planter's Wife by Dinah Jefferies
The Yellow Wall-Paper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman
The Bees by Laline Paull
Up the Walls of the World by James Tiptree Jr.

Louise | 589 comments Lots of interesting nominations. Am getting the hint that there's a demand for 'Crime/Mystery' as one of the next themes if one of those doesn't win.

My nom: The Bees by Laline Paull

message 8: by Sparrow Knight (new)

Sparrow Knight Up the Walls of the World by James Tiptree, Jr. aka Alice Bradley Sheldon. Early sci fi.
