I'll have to be content with reading the play and waiting for Christmas at that! Expensive books are not in the budget this year.
I know what you mean! This is the first book I have purchased this year. Thank Heaven for the library! Ours almost went on strike Monday and I thought I was going to have a nervous break down waiting to hear. Everyone thought I was crazy. "But you don't understand!! It's the LIBRARY!!!!!!"
I started reading it at the grocery store, picked it up again at a bookstore later and I'm really not enjoying it so far. It features two things I hate: teen angst and time travel. Of course I will keep reading it! I had $20 to Barnes & Noble and my dad was hoping/assuming I'd get Cursed Child but even at 20% off I couldn't afford it! It's going on the Christmas wish list or when/if it comes out in paperback, I will get it for my dad to read.
Haven't read it, but from the bits I've seen quoted, and the detailed breakdown of it that I've read, I don't want to. It sounds like the worst possible fanfiction. And I vigorously resent what they do to Cedric Diggory's character in one of the alternate timelines.
If you didn't enjoy it then definitely skip the mugglnet collection. Feels like it was written by a different person.
