There are actually two dining rooms. The first is the large, elegant, palace dining room that is big enough for events, and housing the Selected. It's also called the red room, because of it's red interior design. On the walls are portraits of the royals, going back generations, even to King Maxon and Queen America. The plates and silver ware served in this room are often pure gold or with golden etchings. The glasses are crystal, the centerpieces are extravagant.

The next dining room is off to the side, and is a comfier room. This is used for small family dinners among the royals, or for private dinner dates with the king & queen, king & his mistress, or the prince & his selected. It's still fairly big but small, considering the first dining room. Often referred to as the Lavender room.
