Ahem, did that get everyone’s attention? Thanks to the generous and talented Rachel Sharp we are going to do May’s book club a little different. Rachel is a fellow ace that writes this really amazing post-apocalyptic because which are so funny and realistic. Now the ace character I would like you to meet is Janie. She appears in A Word and A Bullet. Which will be free on Amazon from May 16th to 20th! We will start reading it on the 16th and go to the end of the month.
Now I’m telling you this now for a few reasons. A Word and A Bullet is the second in a series, but you don’t need to read them in order, or the first one at all. But since it’s also very good from May 1st to May 15th is your time to read The Big Book of Post-Collapse Fun, or order any physical copies you may want for the official book club read along.
I’m hoping that having A Word and A Bullet free for 5 days will allow those who are unsure about trying, can’t review, or are nervous about signing up, or any other I’d like too but– people to join us. If for any reason you can’t get the kindle app and need it for your nook please ask box me and Rachel and I will work something out for you.
Furthermore, I know some people have said yay aces but this has a sex scene, or yay aces but I don’t want a romance subplot. Rachel Sharp’s book are a little nerve wrecking in the “I think I should buy emergency supplies” sort of way but otherwise I think are the perfect combination to please just about everyone. But, enough with the details. I really hope to pick up A Word and A Bullet because it’s my favorite book in it’s genre and I’m sure you will love it too!
