Lily walked along Ravenswood, the dark trees comferting.

((Wait do they already know about their powers and bonding animals and such?))

((Um, no I think lily is just drawn to ravenswood.))

Tera skipped on the sidewalk, feeling pleased. Her first A+!

Rani walked along in the preserve.

She decided to take a detour home from school that day. Instead of walking straight home, she started walking through the forest instead.

Rani heard rustling and footsteps.

Turning the corner, she spotted another girl. "Hey...who are you?"

"Rani. You?"

"T, Tera. What are you doing around here? I've never seen anyone here before!"

"I live here."

"You LIVE HERE? Why haven't I seen you around? Never mind. I was just about to go see the animals..."

"I live in the house over there, the Ravenswood Manor."

"Oh! Then you must show me around the place!"

"Sure!" Rani smiled.

"Where can we start?"

"The forest?"

"Ok!" Tera always wanted to take a tour of the forest. It seemed so magical.

Rani smiled and took through a trail. "This is the main path, there are several clearings spread around." She paused when a jeeran, not that she knew what it was, jumped past.

"Wow, what's that? A deer? No, but it's purple! What is it?" She asked Rani.

"Umm, Ravenswood is filled with all sorts of animals."

((Should they find their bondeds?))

((Yeah, that'd be fun!))

"There are more creatures like this one?" The Jeeran skittered away, a purple and green blur in the forest. Suddenly, another one appeared.

"Yeah, I guess." Rani shrugged. She walked farther in. She jumped back when she heard a snort. She saw a horse... A horse with wings, and a pearly white horn.

The Jeeran went to stand next to the orange horse with the horn. "Is that...what I think it is?!"

"Ummm....?" Rani said carefully. The unicorn snorted again and bowed it's head. My mage. She heard. Rani shook her head. "What?"

At the same time, the Jeeran's gaze met Tera's. Hello, Mage.

"What the heck? I'm going totally bonkers!" Rani said. The orange yellow unicorn stepped forward. Hold the horn. Rani did, and watched as it came off in her hand, transforming into a beautiful jewel shaped like wings.

((Phoenix is orangey.))

"Did...you just speak to me?" She asked the Jeeran. Maybe she was becoming schizophrenic. Yes, I did, it said. Actually, not that she thought about it, the voice sounded feminine. "What are you?" I am a Jeeran, Mage. Now, stroke my fur... As she did, a gem as light as air appeared. It was purple with a tint of green.

Rani studied the jewel as it glowed. It was mostly a light orange, the color of Phoenix's coat, reflecting silver and yellow when the light hit it. "What's your name?" She asked the creature. I am known as Phoenix. She heard.

"What is this for, Jee...um, what should I call you?" Call me Aspen, she said. "Aspen...very pretty name. What is it that I use this gem for?" This is your stone, she said. It will aid you in your journey and focus your power. "Power?"

"Power?" Rani asked. Phoenix nodded and pushed her nose into Rani's hand. That was when Rani felt it. It was like she was connected to Phoenix, she had a bond towards her. You will always find me, mage. Phoenix said.

Aspen rubbed Tera's shoulder with her head. Some sort of energy whizzed through her, and she knew that Aspen would always be there for her. Just call and I will be there, Mage, She said. Tera was speechless.

Rani watched in amazement. "What's happening?"

Tera remembered Rani was there. "I don't know..." She whispered.

The Dark Sorceress is taking over. "The who?"

((They need a mentor. Like Ozzie, but someone else.))

((Ok.)) She heard it too. "Yes, who?"

The Sorceress.

"The...Sorceress. She doesn't sound nice."

((Umm, Etta? I think we already started it so that they don't know about magic.... But you're the mod..))

Rani nodded. Phoenix snorted and lowered herself to her knees. "I think she wants me to get on." Rani said. Phoenix nodded and Rani slid onto her back.

"Whoa..." Tera hopped onto Aspen.

Phoenix took off at a gallop, taking them into a clearing.

((You guys already know about your bonded, but yeah, you have a point, I'll delete the post, should they meet her now?))

((Sure. Have them go into the clearing, I guess. :D))

Lily walked into the clearing and closed her eyes. She felt like she belonged here.

Tera noticed another girl in the clearing and froze.

Lily opened her eyes suddenly and looked at the other girl, rooted to the spot.

"Who are you?" she demanded.
