To Be Renamed... Book Club discussion

We will meet on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Biddle's Escape (7:00 pm - 9:00 pm) to discuss Daniel Woodrell's 2006 novel, Winter's Bone. Woodrell's writing has come to be known as "country noir", his books featuring the Missouri Ozarks and the people living there. This book was also turned into a movie in 2010 starring Jennifer Lawrence. Personally I've been wanting to see the movie for a while, but haven't been able to since I hadn't read the book yet. ;)

Daniel Woodrell is from Springfield, Missouri, so his experiences are probably not very unlike the stories he writes. He now lives in the Missouri Ozarks.
