Mystery #3
Mystery #4
Mystery #5

I've changed what books go into what category, and which books I'm going to read so many times, I'm not sure what will be where when this all ends! However, it's already been a great ride.

So how are you doing? You don't have to give all the details I did - just XX/XX is good enough for me! Like I said, I'm a wee bit competitive. ;)

Yvonne (It's All About Books) (yvo_about_books) You're doing great!! I'm currently at 32/35 with only the last three mystery missions left... So basically I have this challenge on hold until they are revealed. :)

Martha Avans (marthaavans) well, I've read 26 books but only have 18 on my card....

EXCELLENT!!!! I can't wait to find out what those mysteries are - I want to find great books to fit those categories.

It's never bad to read more than is "required"! ;) Think any of the extras will fit those three remaining mysteries?

You guys are all doing so awesome!! I feel like such a failure hahah, as the host aren't I supposed to have a head start?! Kidding. I've only read 40 books so far this year, but I really need to dedicate a time to sit down and cross off my boxes. (AND probably release the rest of the mystery missions!!)

Thanks for starting this thread, Ashley!! To see that you guys are actively enjoying it makes me so ecstatic. It might even be motivating me to release the missions! My schedule has been pretty jam-packed as of late, but I'll aim to have one up by the end of the week, so if Monday comes and it's not up, feel free to nag me incessantly!

Also, would you guys mind if I posted the Mystery Missions in the GR thread instead of on the blog? It might be a little easier for me.

Thanks for everything!! You're all killing the challenge!

We understand you're busy - school alone used to take all of my time!

Releasing it here is no issue for me; I'd actually forgotten about the blog... I'm on Goodreads too much!

Martha Avans (marthaavans) I'm trying to figure out ways to make others fit. I've only done one square per book too.

I just like the idea of a challenge. I may change my mind on this as the end of the year gets closer and I get busier. Friend's wedding and I'm doing a quilt for her on Oct 1, college graduation on Oct 8, I cosplay at an anime convention at the end of October, Halloween, birthdays in November, I'm doing a bunch of quilts for Christmas gifts, Thanksgiving, birthdays in December, Christmas...

Everyone gets busy come November/December time. Reading takes a back seat, usually. However! I just found the real joy of audio books. Now I can quilt and sew and clean while reading!

Martha Avans (marthaavans) I like audio books too, so I can crochet and listen.

Jen Martel | 1 comments Does anyone have suggestions or ideas for a book featuring Angels or fairies? It's my last square besides the unrevealed mystery missions.

message 12: by Martha (new)

Martha Avans (marthaavans) Jen the Mercy Thompson series has fairies

Books featuring Angels or Faeries? Oh, I know some. They're mostly mainstream books, so their pretty easy to acquire if you haven't got a copy yet.

Angels:
1. Shadowhunters Chronicles by Cassandra Clare. Almost all of her books are about angels with some faeries.

Faeries:
1. The Iron Fey series & The Iron Fey: Call of Forgotten series by Julie Kagawa
2. Throne of Glass series and/or ACOTAR series by Sarah J. Maas

Misha (musingmisha) Oh, my update! I've read through the thread and I am so amazed at the amount of books you all have read. I've only crossed off 19 of the 35 blocks. None of which are the mystery missions.

I hope to catch up soon, but with the start of the new school year, it may be a little hard to do so. Wish me luck!

message 15: by Martha (new)

Martha Avans (marthaavans) my goal was 12 books, I've read 21 for this challenge, 34 total this year. :) and the 21 have only counted for one spot on board.
