We are looking forward to hosting John David Anderson at our local library next month.. I have read the book and thought it was an amazing story.. we have had questions about it being 'appropriate?' for certain age or grade levels... I'm retired and worked with elementary kids but I think this is how kids talk and react these days?? who would you hand this book to?

I read this aloud to my third grade daughter. the author mishmashes words together ex frawesom is suppose to be freaking awesome. I didn't care fore this and at a couple points skipped over it just so I wouldn't have to get into it with little third grade girlie. All in all it was a good book & she enjoyed it.
