Kierra Michael Vey: Fall of Hades by Richard Paul Evans

In Michael Vey: Fall of Hades, the voice is revealed to be Dr. Coonradt. He helps Michael and the rest of the electroclan prepare for their most dangerous mission yet. They travel halfway across the world. Many get injured and even die. In the end, Michael disappears.

Richard Paul Evans implied a great theme in this book. Michael Vey has Tourette's syndrome but it doesn’t stop him from doing amazing things. He is saving the world! Likewise, we shouldn’t let anything stop us. All of us have trials but we can’t let those stand in our way. We can do great things. I really like the theme I got out of Michael Vey 6.

The conflict was established a while ago in the first book. Michael Vey has electric powers. He thought he was the only one until he discovered a girl at his school, Taylor Ridley, also has powers. Together they formed the Electroclan along with Michael’s best friend, Ostin. They thought they were the only ones who knew about their powers, but it turns out they weren’t. The Elgen were after them. Once the Elgen discovered Michael and Taylor, they kidnapped them. They also kidnapped Michael’s mom and captured Ostin and Michael’s old bullies, Jack and Wade. Together they found some other electric children, escaped the Elgen, and destroyed the facility. “The voice” found them and has been keeping them safe since. In the 6th book they attempt to end Hatch for good. Though unsuccessful, they rescued a few more electric children and destroyed the facility in Tuvalu. But a new conflict has come up. Michael is missing.

I really enjoyed Michael Vey: Fall of Hades. I got it 5 days before it came out and I could not put it down! I stayed up way past my bedtime and finished it within the first 24 hours I had it. It was really intriguing and intense. It wasn’t at all what I was expecting. I can’t wait for the last one to come out! As the 6th book in the #1 national bestselling series, it definitely lives up to its expectations. It was full of action and adventure. Richard Paul Evans deserves his title as #1 New York Times and USA Today bestselling author. And the title as one of my favorite authors. Michael Vey 6 was a great book and I really enjoyed it.
