I'm recommending this book for lovers of YA fiction of a Twilight-esque persuasion. However, the concept of this book gets props for being highly original, more eloquent, literary, and mature than the typical monster-love story.
This fated romance is between an incubus and soon-to-be succubus. It has that whole heart-wrenching, soulmate vibe to it; that "you're so beautiful it hurts to look at you" theme. The author interweaves multicultural love stories and poems, Greek myth, and demonology into her story, which is what I loved most about it. That, and some unexpected twists that kept the plot rolling.
