The Underworld is real.

Spencer Perry knew it was a long shot when she started searching for a way into the Underworld, the ancient Greeks resting place for the dead. But three months ago her boyfriend died and now she’ll do anything to get him back, even make a deal with the devil himself. Only, Hades isn’t what she expected, and neither is the proposal he offers. In exchange for Micah’s resurrection, all she has to do is spend every night for the next year down below. From the very first meeting the god makes her feel things she shouldn’t, but she takes the deal anyway, knowing in the end it’ll be worth it. Except, as soon as their bargain begins, strange things start happening. People are being attacked by invisible forces, and all signs point to the God of the Underworld being responsible. Has Spencer inadvertently unleashed hell on earth?

chapter 1 (view spoiler)[ I like the main character so far, and I like how the popular, head cheerleader girl isn't an awful tyrant like books usually portray the popular girl.

I've struggled to get into this one so far.

The names are making me crack up a little to be honest.. Those are some very modern names for some very ancient entities.

So Im not totally sold on Hadrian going to their school yet. Im excited to see what he and Spencer do at night time for the half the year whateverness. I feel like shes gonna fall for Hadrian and feel like she shouldnt have brought Micah back at all.

Chapter 10 (view spoiler)[ I am finding Spencer REALLY annoying and kind of dumb. Hadrian is okay but I'm not completely sold, and I don't like that this looks to be heading toward a love triangle :// It's gonna be kinda pointless if she did all this just to go for Hadrian (hide spoiler)]

I finally got to a bit of plot about the God of Death 'marking' people (woo plot finally! half way thru) and then it just goes back to omg girl talk gossip lols. I think the pacing is just off for me.

Up to chapter 28, it's going so slowly for me because it's kinda boring

Okay I finished this and uploaded my review. Sadly was a bit disappointed with it

I feel the same. It took a lot for me to finish it. Had to push myself to get through it
