I found it to be an excellent book and have recomended it to many friends. My avourite concept is juudging by intent not action, and the concept of banking trust.

I read it and loved it. I've worked both in high-trust environments and in low-trust environments. Unfortunately, my current employment is transitioning from high-trust to average trust, and our execution is slowing noticeably.
Our Senior Management Team read this book together as a way to learn about each other and understand trust. It was an interesting exercise because we found that how we extend trust was very different across the cultures represented. That was our biggest learning and the most difficult one to deal with. Overall the book was okay but after reading and discussing it for 5 months, I believe that recreating trust isn't very high on most lists. If someone has betrayed your trust there are ways they may be able to engage you again but fundamentally only time and proof will work. I don't recommend this book. I think there is much more to learn from Stephen's dad's book, the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
