*I* think it looks fantasy, but I guess they want monsters on the front. My personal opinion is that dark skin equals A.A. history/lit in most people's minds. I like to tell people if the girl was white with all that glowing stuff around her and that fantasy style font, they'd assume it was some kind of fantasy, even if urban.Anyway, thanks for sharing your opinion. You're probably right.
I agree with Deva. The title and the fact that her eyes are kind of glowing is enough to list it under fantasy. The cover does make me a little bias but that is just because I like to identify with characters. When the story is amazing ppl tend to forget about appearances.

That said, my question is this: would it be appropriate to list it under 'African American Interest'? Would people expect it to be black history, or something if they found it there? Because it's not, it's epic fantasy. I don't want to get a bunch of negative reviews or ratings because people were upset about monsters showing up (even though it's all clearly laid out in the blurb). Just because it's about a dark-skinned girl doesn't really make it A.A. Interest, does it? I'm not trying to be ignorant, here, I just really am ignorant in the literal sense. Any input would be helpful.
