This book got better and better the deeper you read into it. There are many bone chilling moments in the last third of the book. The auditorium doors do open and the remaining students get out alive thanks to Autumn, who kept Tyler's eyes off of the crowded doors. She tried to make as much time as possible for the students to exit but unfortunately Tyler notices the doors and shoots Autumn's knee. (page 270). Autumn was my favorite character in this book just because of her leadership throughout the book and her strength. When Tyler shot her knee I almost started crying because she was a dancer who was just about to audition for Juilliard. After Tyler shoots Autumn, he flipped the gun around to his head and said "I just don't want to be alone anymore" and pulled the trigger. (page 261) That moment sent shivers down my spine. On page 270, Autumn says "I didn't need to die for him to kill me." Which broke my heart because dance was her life and she is basically dead without dance. I highly recommend this book if you like creepy books.
