Hiya, Team Caps! Thanks for volunteering to guide your team through a round of BookShelf Bingo!

Your job, should you choose to accept it, will require a few things:
1 ~ Be our go-to person should we have any questions about your team
2 ~ Organize your teammate's weekly reads for each shelf/category so that the BSB Ninjas can quickly and easily verify and approve your stamp request(s)
2a ~ Create a master list in a post (preferably on the first page of your team's thread) and update it weekly or as often as necessary
3 ~ Encourage and motivate your team (you may also ask to borrow Judithe's whip whenever necessary)
4 ~ Post regularly to ensure your team is communicating and on track each week
4a ~ Send them a PM and friendly poke if they haven't posted at least once a week, noted their book choice, and/or appear to have dropped out of webspace
5 ~ Send us a PM (Steph, Sandra or Judithe) should you need us for any reason throughout the game

How do we decide who reads what on the cards?

Hannah, each Wednesday a shelf is called. Check your time zone.

Everyone reads whatever they want from that shelf, as long as it is 200 pages or more. Then they post a short review that includes the date read (because of time zones, never say I read it yesterday, cause then the Ninjas will ask you to put the date on it), rating (ie how many stars) & of course what book it is & usually the shelf name too.

You can have a look at previous games & see what past people have posted.

Once you've played a week or two you'll quickly get the hang of it.

Hi ladies! Looking forward to playing this round with all of you. I have played in most of the Bingo rounds in this group and variations of the game in a few other groups. I like both team name suggestions too, but I think Cockeyed Kaleidoscopic Gargoyles is my favorite. It is quite random!

I will be starting my first real job in July. I love to read and have not had enough time in school so I am excited to do this challenge! My sister also is in the challenge on team 13!

I am a pediatric nurse at a major midwestern children's hospital. I've been a nurse for about 6 years. I would say nursing is my 4th and final career stop, but that can change, of course. I will never have enough time to read all the books on my TBR and I add new ones every day! This is my second time playing BSB, so I hope I get everything right. Please bear with me as I figure things out. :)

I just finished school last summer and am currently working at my local public library. Officially I am auxiliary but it seems like I am basically full time without the benefits!! Haha...I have always loved reading, so it's pretty much the perfect job for me! I live in Canada, on the West coast. I've played this game a couple of times, looking forward to another round!

I live in South Carolina and work full time as an accountant. This is my 10th round of BSB in this group and I have been lucky to be on the winning team four times. Looking forward to playing this round with all of you!

Great Hannah! Could you let me know which SOS shelf you found this one on? If you didn't know, all free space books have to fit in with certain guidelines/rules--Free Space Rules

Kelsi and Amanda, whenever you have a chance, could you let me know your Free Space book, just so my OCD calms down and I can put it in our tracking message? :)

...And I don't mean to offend anyone by saying that; I really do have quite a few OCD characteristics, but I've embraced them. I just don't want anyone else to be aggravated by the things I tend to do. So, if I do, tell me to back off. :)

Ladies, while peaking at other teams' posts, I discovered this wonderful tip at Team 1 (originally from Natalie and Daffodil) for searching for a particular book on a shelf. It's a HUGE time saver. BSB Book Search Tip (particularly comment 37, but there are other good tips on the page as well); Daffodil has another great tip in comment #50.

Oh I particularly like the tip about searching on iPad, I have always just waited until I was at a computer because I had no idea I could search a page with a tablet. Thanks for posting that!
