NORTH AMERICA (2 of 2)I created a separate post for Canada and USA because I would like to read at least a book for each state/region.
Plus, I added a special group for Native American literature and African American literature, because I consider them peculiar genres that help get to know a Country better.

Rosemarie wrote: "There is a section in More Challenges that is for reading Canadian books. I did it last year."Thank you for the suggestion! I think I have only read "Anne of Greengables" by L.M. Montgomery and "The handmaid's tale" by Atwood, for Canadian literature, but I want to discover more about it!

Thank you for the suggestion!
====================2017 readings start here================I'll start the year with Girls of Riyadh (Saudi Arabia)
#2 La cena degli addii by Ito Ogawa (Japan)I couldn't finish "Girls of Riyadh" - I couldn't stand the superficiality and weakness of the characters, LOL! I love books about the condition of Arab/Muslim women, but this is certainly not a book I would recommend for this genre.
#3 The Scent of Rain in the Balkans by Gordana Kuić (Bosnia and Herzegovina with historical setting: Austria-Hungary)
La Secrète was wonderful! I really enjoyed it.#6 Il cattivo cronista by Francesco Abate (Italy > Sardegna)
#7 GraceLand by Chris AbaniI went back to Nigeria again, I really loved this author and this novel is completely set in Lagos between the 70s and the 80s.
