Thank you for the suggestion! I think I have only read "Anne of Greengables" by L.M. Montgomery and "The handmaid's tale" by Atwood, for Canadian literature, but I want to discover more about it!

I couldn't finish "Girls of Riyadh" - I couldn't stand the superficiality and weakness of the characters, LOL! I love books about the condition of Arab/Muslim women, but this is certainly not a book I would recommend for this genre.
