DFW Planetary Society Book Club discussion

Discussion thread!! I strongly recommend the audio version of this. It is narrated by Stephen Fry and is just freaking delightful so far.

Ahh! Hitchhiker's Guide! It's been some years for me.

Are any of you listening to Pink Floyd as you read?

I'm holding off on reading the book (technically re-listening to it) until the last week so it's fresh in my mind. Did something remind you of a Pink Floyd song?

In the movie just after the Vogons destroy Earth and there's the stringed instrument playing as the animated Hitchhiker's Guide comes onto the screen that song sounds very reminiscent of PF.

Then again PF is very much like pizza and weed... it just makes everything better!

Hangout time! We're going to do another online meetup this time due to some changing work schedules. We'll do a google hangout at 5 on Sunday for Hitchhiker's Guide.
