Small and Independent Press Books discussion

Since Dakiti (Transcendence Publishing, 2014) is the first novel of E. J. Fisch's Ziva Payvan series, I'm editing this thread/post to refer to the entire series; other group members may have read and want to discuss later books, though I've only read the first one. I gave it five stars; I found it to be a very polished, well written and well plotted action-oriented sci-fi yarn, with three-dimensional characters and a strong heroine as the protagonist.
