So . . . a friend lent me Veiled Rose and I just read it. The ending killed me though. It's like, their lives have been horrible since they were little and they're STILL horrible and those last couple pages almost made me cry. (Note: I hate crying.) But Rose Red's line about maybe there's another story out there that can make this one happy gives me hope! I NEED MOONBLOOD. *pant pant* Sorry, I'm a mess right now. :PBut I LOVED IT. Like more then Heartless. O_O
I was confused near the beginning because I thought Rose Red's Imaginary Friend and her Dream where the same person. Like no. I can't believe I thought that. Because, yeah. No.
I liked Rose Red oodles more then Una! I mean,I liked Una a lot but I loved Rose Red is much more.
And Lionheart. LIONHEART. I love love love him! He's adorable and awesome and fun and every now and then he's heroic and he's just great!
And the part when he was a jester in that empire place and he didn't know the language too good. I was reading it in my sister's room and I was just laughing hysterically and my sister was like "what's so funny?" and I was just laughing and laughing and she was like "it can't be THAT funny." and I was like "it seriously is!" I had to read that part again after I finished it to make me stop being sad about the ending. IT WAS JUST HALOURIOUS. I'm looking at it right now and I'm just giggling madly!
Now Heartless is so deep and has so meany dimensions. o.o It's like ten times awesomer if that was possible. And it was so fun to see some of the parts from Heartless in Lionheart's point of view!
Oh and I LOVED when Monster stole his jester hat. XD
I should shut up now but this is what the thread is FOR right? Even if I come across as being insane, but you guys understand. ;)

I know, the Norhitam jester scene right? :) This wasn't exactly my favorite of the series, but I was s much like you when I read it. I kept babbling about NEEDING TO READ "MOONBLOOD" RIGHT NOW after I had finished; my mother and sisters threatened to stick socks in my mouth. :)

MUST GET MOONBLOOD. But my birthday's this month so there's hope. :P
Oh, I have a question: What's with the bird on the cover? Did I miss something or what? Because I don't think there was a bird. (Aside from the thrush but the cover-bird looks creepy.)

Back! Okay, that's Dragon. Funny thing, I only just this spring realized what the cover was: it's the scene where the Dragon King shows Rosie the mirror in the Netherworld, and she sees herself suddenly beautiful.
Oh! Okay. That also explains why the girl is pretty. :P I thought it was a bird because on the back of the cover it looks like feathers.

Butbut... ALL OF THE THINGS. Idiot loveable mess of a Lionheart doesn't know he loves Rose Red but SHE loves him and they need to be a thing BECAUSE THEY'RE SO ADORABLE. <3 Also Beana. And poor Foxbrush and his oiled hair and he likes Daylily but she likes Lionheart but he's going to marry her but but NOOOOO. I kind of dislike Daylily but I also feel sorry for her. And Foxbrush. And Lionheart! AND ROSE RED. I FEEL SORRY FOR EVERYBODY AND THEY ALL NEED SOME HAPPILY EVER AFTERS OR AT LEAST SOMETHING HAPPIER THAN NOW AND WAAAAHHH. *huggles entire book and sobs* I wuv them though. :D

I'm without any Tales from Goldstone Wood right now! O.O

OK, so I literally read the first three books and wow. The Prince is awesome, moonblood is so sad, about the goblin queen. She really did love her daughter.
All right. Spoiler. But just curious, how on planet earth did Sunan change from golden daughter to who he is in Veiled Rose? He was so different! Did something happen between his 1000 years sleep or so after he was a dragon to when he met Lionheart on the ship?
