Whilst rereading "Dragonwitch", my sister turned on Skillet's song, "Fire and Fury". If you'd appreciate some more pain over Etanun and the Dragonwitch, I would recommend that you listen to it. :p

I love "Fire and Fury"! I'm so used to listening to that song in it's own context, but yeah.... "It burns, it burns. it burns..." Ouch. But like I said, it's hard for me to break it out of context into Dragonwitch context. :P Now my Skillet songs are one shuffle, and I haven't listened to them in awhile... Thanks! :D

Wow, it's hard to believe no one's really commented over here. :O Dragonwitch is my favorite other than Draven's Light!!

I first heard "Fire and Fury" as a writing prompt and, of course, the story that formed around it ended up being weird and disturbing. So now every time I hear it, I'll be associating it with two disturbing and depressing stories. :p

It is surprising that no one's commented here.
While reading it today, I had the weird realization that red-headed Alistair is the source of all the red-headed gene in Southlands. So however many generations separated, Alistair is Daylily's great-great-great grandfather.

@Athelas: Ah, that explains it! ;) If one didn't hear it in the Christian Artist context it would probably sound very different! :P
