2017 keeps getting better and better. On March 15th, Jonathan Janz's Exorcist Falls will be released. On the same day, we are honored to have Jonathan join us as we delve into his latest slab of terror. His book also contains the novella Exorcist Road, which is the story that preludes Exorcist Falls. We will be reading both and I'm more than excited! Janz is one of my favorite authors and also happens to be one hell of a nice guy, to boot. Please help me give a warm welcome to Jonathan Janz!

I recently read my first book (Children of the Dark) by Jonathan and am looking forward to another one!
The cover looks great!

The novella, Exorcist Road, is included in the book, Exorcist Falls. We'll read both stories back to back.

Been meaning to check out his stuff for a while now. Guess this gives me a good reason to finally take that plunge.

I've just pre-ordered my copy on Amazon, it will be my first read by Jonathan, I look forward to another group read with you guys.

I'll be getting mine downloaded as soon as possible. Haven't read Jonathan yet, but I've wanted to!

Hello, Cora! I've never been to Vegas but will get out there one of these days. You might already know this, but I'm also a teacher. That's a bond between the two of us that few can match. :-)

Hey, Vicki! Great to hear from you. Yes, as Ken said, the novella is in the same book, and I'd definitely read them in order. And I agree with your thoughts on the cover. Matthew Revert is one of the best artists working right now.

Hello, fellow Indiana friend! The artist is Matthew Revert. He has done three covers for my work to date: CHILDREN OF THE DARK, EXORCIST FALLS, and WITCHING HOUR THEATRE. He might be doing my long novella later in the year (coming soon from an incredible secret publisher!), and if I have my way, he'll do more of my covers in the future. I just love his work.

Oh, and since you mention Indiana, my wife loved Children of the Dark because it basically took place where she grew up (Crawfordsville). She was happy to share with her friends that their electric company (TipMont) made an appearance.

Also, I live on the south side of Indy now and smiled when (view spoiler)[a certain bad guy was reportedly seen on the south side in Children of the Dark (hide spoiler)]

Ah, that's so cool! Yes, that bad guy was definitely (supposedly) in your neck of the woods. It's funny that your wife recognized TipMont. One of my pre-readers and good friends (who's also from this area) asked me if I could get in trouble for mentioning a real company in that way. I asked, "Why? Do you think I portray their employees as inept?" He answered, "No, but you do describe them dying horrible bloody deaths."

As you can see, I kept the company name intact. So far, I've received no phone calls from them about it. :-)

Ha! Its when your works become monsterously big (which, of course, they should) that the TipMont lawyers will come out of the woodwork! Then they will just want a cut of the profits.

I am glad you left it in there as it helped me pinpoint the locale even more. Those are some creepy woods between Crawfordsville and Lafayette!

CHILDREN OF THE DARK (coming-of-age)
THE NIGHTMARE GIRL (cult/suspense)
WOLF LAND or SAVAGE SPECIES (if you like insane, gory, character-driven stories)

I've not yet worked with Darkfuse, but I know they publish some great stuff. I *will* be working with one of my favorite publishers later in the year, however. I can't wait to announce it. :-)

The book drops tomorrow! I'll be at Universal Studios with my kids (the wife is in France chaperoning college kids at a cooking school), but I'm extremely excited about the release of EXORCIST FALLS. I saw the following review of it this morning, courtesy of The Low Budget Review Show:
