An Ember in the Ashes series discussion

hey guys, any recommendations on what to read next? maybe something similar to these series :) i really loved both of the books, simply couldn't put them down until i read the last chapter!

I started reading Mistborn. It kind of has the same feel as these book and it is pretty good so far.

Mistborn is maybe my top series of all time. Book one starts of slow but hang in there because it's all important info and setup.

Kel Kades - Kings Dark Tidings is a great series also. Incredibly fun story with a different twist on the protagonist.

Mistborn does remind me a bit of An Ember in the Ashes, with it's feel, and I'd definitely recommend at least the first two books. After that I felt it kind of dragged on and I was like asdfhjdk.
Another kind of similar series is Throne of Glass, and I'd recommend that because hello it's pretty great. And you might like Eye of Minds or Vault of Dreamers, but they're kind of different s i don't know.
